★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here during Iftar Ramadhan 2018. FULL-HOUSE. Chose & ordered Nasi Briyani Gam Lamb Shank & Nasi Briyani Kambing. Booth taste very delicious. Superb. Meat very soft, tender & not dry. The rice itself well cooked & blended well with the lamb & mutton. Their service very good & fast. I would described it is the best contender Nasi Briyani Restaurant for Ruzz Aladdin at Jalan Ampang.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This resto located behind Acapella Seksyen 13 Shah Alam. Nearby to Mr. DIY. Just type Pak Anjang Bariani Warisan Johore at search. So today, we plan to feed my tummy with rice ??. When i step in to this restaurant, i went straight to the toilet! And guess what? They really taking care of the cleanliness. While washing my hands, i glanced to the kitchen area, very well organised (4 star to that). Hurmm.. Now its time to sit and order coz i am hungry like hell. Caught my eyes on menu, Bariani Gam!!! Yummeh.. But not available at the time we there. So we changed to normal Bariani Kambing and Bariani Daging. Coz, when comes to Bariani.. I dont keen to order chicken. Oh i miss Johore so much! Ok, back to the resto. Friendly waiter i would say. Quick service. Maybe we went during Maghrib. So not many people. When food served, then comes to tasting time. They had a good food served. I had my daging and my partner get his kambing. I chopped a bit of his kambing and hurmmm... ?. The smell too strong. I mean, kambing smell ??. So potong stim! Huhu. But still my mouth keep chewing my food coz i'm hungry. The portion quite big. So dont order if ur tummy half full ?? jk. The meat very juicy n tasty. Just the kambing smell made me off a bit. Yeah! I'm sorry. I did compared the food with others Bariani that i had taste (in my mind). Dont get me wrong. Different people, different taste, aite? You cant smoke inside the resto. Take note ya. Space is very cozy, relax and friendly environment for having a group session or catching up with ur family and friend. Here goes some pics of what we had today! Enjoy... ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must say that this turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Pak Anjang bariani is tucked discreetly in among the many shops next to the Shah Alam stadium. The surrounding areas are not exactly nice. The road system is haywired and messy, which is surprising for Shah Alam.
I tried the Bariani Gam ayam goreng berempah (fried chicken with spices) and the mutton Gam. The chicken was good. Accompanied with a dark gravy, very tasty (acar) vinegar'd cucumbers and chili sauce. The chicken was very tasty. The rice was very fluffy and delicious. The rice and gravy is good on its own.
I cant say the same for the mutton. The ribs were wired with tendons and even though it was a reasonably large piece (the chicken was small) the meat was hard to come by. But whenever I could scrape together a piece of meat it tasted good.
i certainly will be making an effort to drop by to try their other dishes.
Pricing may be higher than other similar joints. Service is hit and miss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not even up to par for the both briyani kambing and briyani daging. Salty and dry not even close to briyani gam.
With the pricetag of MYR 16.90 for beef and MYR 19.90 for lamb considered as premium and should be cook with premium product. Rice they use is not even basmathi. Beef received more like rendang texture and an indicator that the beef is not fresh and probably cooked days over. For the lamb its not even cook to the bones. Saltiness is a five star for both.
Also bought mee rebus and mee bandung muar. Mee rebus was so sweet and looks like it was made by non authentic johorian chef. Well to my surprise, mee bandung i got was like maggy mee, no meat, nothing inside.. not even an egg.. my god.. seriously.. and also.. salty..
All the above was bought take away and from my perspective, all the staff starting at the cashier and the kitchen they are all Indonesian. Not being racist and all, but you get the picture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beriani gam is good and is getting better over the years. Service is good but presentation and ambiance are ordinary. Place to go to for beriani Johor. Besides beriani it also serves mee rebus, tahu bakar, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and nice nasi beriani food with affordable price. The taste is good and rich with flavour. Decoration is less but the ambience is good to dine in. Esay to park car around this area. Must come and try their signature Bariani Rice.
