If you're a hiker and often frequent Nan Shan trail, I am sure you're familiar with this shrine. Though the location of this shrine is a little secluded but you'll bound to locate it with a little will and determination.
The distance from the first shrine is about 20 minutes uphill walk, once reaching the cross junction just proceed straight, there's a signboard giving direction you won't miss it. This little cottage also housed the deity Pek Kong as the house god, within its compound there is a 'Datuk' La Tok Kong and a Hill god 'Sua sin' being worship.
The structure of the shrine concurs that it's a very recent place of worship. The location could be a little difficult to find if you're not familiar with the surrounding, nevertheless there are signboards along the way to guide you.
Financially this place also depends solely on donations for it's upkeep and maintenance. No caretakers look after the shrine, basically it's been looked after by a small group of local who takes care of the overall usability.
It's very peaceful and calm particularly to relax as well as to release your stressful feelings and emotions.
