★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hiking trail that you definitely wouldn't want to miss it in Penang. The trail status with a cemented, acceptable slope for around 30 minutes, then follow by off-road for another 45 minutes. Recommended to start early to avoid sunburn as the 90% of the trail is exposed directly to the sunlight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful view at the peak, with a moderately sloped trail all along the way. Usually takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the peak from Paya Terubong start point. Recommended to go before the place becomes too crowded due to popularity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go early in the morning, or after 5pm. Any hours in between, and you'll be sunburned. The hike itself is fairly medium difficulty, with moderate inclination at certain sections. Persevere all the way to the top, and you'll be rewarded with one of Penang's magnificent view.
