★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too many people in a single session. The authorities should handle the visitors properly, especially during this pandemic season. There were no social distancing, some people didn't even were a face mask.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unlike previously, the parking space of the new "Pasar Payang" is more accessible and wider than the last narrow-crowded road. It is also very near to Jetty Syahbandar to Redang Island and also 4 those who wants to take pictures of a "Drawbridge", you could also do it right here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The market is big & the are so many shops & stalls. Located near the old pasar payang by the river bank. Just walk around & compare the price before purchase anything. The "batik" collection is expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unlike Pasar Siti Khadijah, where the shops feels somewhat distinctive, here, everything feels pretty much the same. You get a bunch of different sellers selling pretty much the same thing - same type of products, with the same quality at the same price. There's probably one or two gems inside, but with how similar everything looks, you'll probably miss it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The newly renovated Pasir Payang is so much better, cleaner and organised from what it used to be. The place reminds me of Ben Thanh in Vietnam but better. You can find all kinds of traditional food, clothing, batiks songket, t-shirt, etc.
