โ โ โ โ โ A hive of activities and an air of 'festivities' the moment you step in the Pasar Pudu area. There is a sea of open stalls along the road beside the pasar proper with a multitude of perishables of diverse choices of vegetables, seafood, meats and fruits foryouto choose from.
For the uninitiated, the pong will strike hard at your nostrils but for regulars it's just a slight whiff to contend with. Most come to stock up their supplies here be it homemakers or retailers and hawkers or small restaurateurs because of its prices reasonablenes. It looks like the stalls inside the market proper are not so well patronized because people's logic is that it is costlier than outside.
A long history of this almost 70 year old market to reminisce as my grandfather had a stall here selling shark and stingrays meat. My brother almost inherited it from him but gave it up as it was too taxing a job. I did a day or two of work scrapping tar off its tarred roof with spade during its refurbishing operation in my teens after my MCE before quitting due to unbearable from the sun above and the simmering heat radiated from the roof. There are specialy lam mee, cendul and aquarium stores around the vicinity

โ โ โ โ โ For those looking for cheap electrical equipment, spare parts and electronic stuff, this is one of the best place to go. I always visit this place since 1990s and right now a place for my son to find his stuff too because here also selling items for hobbyist especially for betta fish lover like my son.

โ โ โ โ โ good place for hobbies i can say. You also can find fishes and other small pets here. The stalls are scattered and some are really close to the road, so family with small kids need to be extra careful while window shopping. Parking is based on luck, if you come on peak hour, it's hard to get proper parking lot. The price is about the same along the way , maybe they have price standard for almost every item.

โ โ โ โ โ Everything under the sun is here...fresh veggies, poultry, fruits and.....pets to electrical n digital stuff!! You can get the good brands or cheaper versions.....your choice!! Parking is good ....there are many parking spaces available....and cheap too!!

โ โ โ โ โ Not many places can get goose rice in KL. The goose is ok, nothing exceptional, just like a fatter duck. Rice is plain rice. Price for goose rice is RM16. Small soup RM1.50.

โ โ โ โ โ Undoubtedly the biggest wet morning market in Kuala Lumpur which housed hundreds of individual small stores selling fresh vegetables, meat, fruits , seafood , poultry and all types of spices. Basically this market is so very well stocked with multiple varieties that its said that if you can't find your fresh cooking ingredients here, you can't find it anywhere else. Place is a bit disorganized as small lane snakes through the entire location with store set up on all directions . Bargaining is minimal as the prices of produce here are really reasonable and perhaps the cheapest in the city compared to other wet markets else where. Parking is an absolute nightmare as you might have to park at least 500 metres away and make your way here on foot. But its all worth your efforts as you can get your food marketing done with the freshest and the cheapest all in 1 place. Recommended to bring your own grocery bags . A must visit to feel and see for yourself what a Malaysian wet market is like.
