★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is only one entrance (from the residential area) and volunteers are always present there to ensure strict adherence to SOPs — to scan MySejahtera or register manually, to measure body temperature and to obtain a ‘number card’ to limit the number of visitors at the bazaar at any one time ??
Food stalls only occupy one side of the road (instead of both sides) and therefore there is plenty of space for visitors to maintain physical distance. Some stall owners require their customers to queue when buying food by setting up ‘taped cones’ in front of their stalls. Kudos to them! However it is at your own risk to distance sufficiently from one another during the entire visit.
I recommend the Nasi Kerabu (from Nor Amiza CK) and Nasi Lemak Kampung Morten with their Ayam Rendang ?? There was a satay stall (Sate Penjara) selling one skewer at only RM0.50 — a rare find nowadays! Many other stalls sell Nasi Biryani, Nasi Campur, fried chicken, kuih, roti/ murtabak and fruit juices.
One downside of this bazaar is that it always cause heavy traffic along the AMJ highway due to the many cars parked illegally along the highway right outside of Semabok Perdana. Visitors should utilise the carpark around the shop lots/ park at empty spaces near the residential area (not in front of houses).
