★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Telephone building dept asking reno permit, officer should guide customer how to enter to their website right? The officer ask me "cari sendiri di website, sana ada detail". Others company likes syabas n TNB officer is very polite n helpful n will guide us which to click at website when answering question. MBPJ staff should go to training for customer services.

The efficiency is not measurable because it is non existent. Unbelievable how little processes has been put in place, how much bureaucracy and paperwork they still request and even if you get all according to their needs and regulations, it might still be up to the officer in front of you if he/ she accepts it or not.
There is no interaction and connection to other departments (I believe this is not been done, just to keep more people employed), to ease and speed up processes.
We are now waiting since three month for an appointment and being pushed back and forth, apparently even in 2021 you still get the feeling that you have to obey and bow down to all their nonsense and you only get a better treatment if some ringgits are being exchanged unofficially.
Get a third party consultant involved to implement efficiency & IT systems, everyone will profit (in an honest way) from this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm really unhappy with this MBPJ. My car always park in front of my house. It's a Van almost more than 10 years parked over there. Never get compound before this even the traffic police informed can park in front of house because it's housing area shouldn't be a problem. But this stupid MBPJ staff like to Compound simply to every car. The same incident was happened before with my another car so I fought back with them about the it, at the end I'm the one right so they wrote for me a letter without any compound. I wouldn't know what the MBPJ staff thinking about. If they want bribery ask lah directly. If don't have money to eat, don't have money to pay expenses ask . Because you guys eating people money. You guys think, Sitting and shaking legs can get money easy isn't it? I'm really frustrated because of this. Do your job honestly. Don't simply give compound just because that you need money. Even wrote in the compound notice model of the vehicle also wrong. I'm really speechless.

We are trying to build a house, but same as most government departments, they are so lousy organised, no one knows nothing! Very little is available in written form, officer have no idea of their job scope or responsibilities, some even come up with new regulations on the spot and if you ask them to show this in written form they shout at you and mention to just follow what they want! It is ridiculous! You feel like you are back in the 70‘s were a fax machine was the newest technology, that still seems to be their standard.
And then of course the big money question, it’s almost a common that they expect you to pay them for their personal service some extra, no shame from their side.
For our case we have been told that a runner would be the best solution to submit our documents, because then we do not get involved in those extra payments!!! COMMON PRACTICE !!!
I do really hope one day Someone honest will come and clean up the government swamp! Bring those people back to earth and explain them that they are government servants to serve the people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has been around for ages! It’s the building that the governing council for the township of Petaling Jaya . Depending on which department you go to, the waiting time to see the officer in charge may differ. I usually park across the road as the parking lots here are mostly for MBPJ staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no call centre service or queue system. All departments including the operator were not answering on Friday at 12:30pm and the phone would automatically cut you off. This is below par for a government department

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anyone else feels the websites for most (if not all) government agencies slow and non user friendly? Why is there nothing activated when I clicked on Cukai Taksiran under semakan? It takes me back to the same screen. Why?
MPSJ also no different. ???♀️
