★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Point 84 is about half way up the Penang Hill road at 2.5 km. Nice place to rest and have a drink. There are seats for picnics, toilet facilities. The new picnic area was opened in April 2019 after the old one collapsed in a land slide. You can reach it by road, also footpaths from point 5 and point 46 - it takes nearly an hour from point 5 but only half hour from point 46. Nearby is Moniot Road which is pleasant bridleway following the side of Penang Hill or you can walk all the way to the top station by road which is 2 km away.
