β β β β β A newly established casual Wine and dine restaurant in Paramount PJ. Located along at the same row of shops of famous cafΓ©s. This place is jointly operated by Cave & Cellar (they are a wine distributor) and the founder of Meatology TTDI. There are good selection of wines, ranging from RM 1xx per bottle up to RM 5xx (if I'm not mistaken). Most of the collections are brought in by C&C, the likes of Delheim n etc. As for the food, it's reasonably priced, just that the portion is slightly small. Their steak is highly recommended to go along with their wine. The only downside was the long wait for the food to be served. Took them almost 40 minutes to complete my order. This place is gaining popularity, do make reservation prior to your visit over the weekend. Outdoor seating is available, but not so proper for dining. Tables are limited as well. Wine by the glass is served as well, from RM 19 onwards. I've picked the Medoc which cost RM 30 per glass. Each glass being poured and weighted for precision.

β β β β β Cool place with a good selection of taster plates and mains on menu. I love the juicy duck breast and truffles Siew yok, only disappointment is the poison pork - itβs just too charred and burnt, I was struggling to bring myself to finish this dish. Wide selection of wines here, so I think you will enjoy if you are wine lover, and they have cheese platter to go with it too. You can also order beer from the sister shop βMonster beerβ next shop. Only thing I hope they will provide drinks menu for per glass option for easy viewing and provide more options for diners.

β β β β β Gotten better since - but service is still way too slow. Even for things that should be expected for a bare bones no service tax joint, such as opening wine bottles. Will set aside points around availability of water, glasses and managing/prioritising needs of different parties.
I understand the guys need time to ramp up on wine knowledge, but given that itβs operated by a distributor, having written guides would have been helpful.

Look I love a lot about your place - the wine selection, the food, the atmosphere but you have got to get your guys some training in wine serving. You will get 5 stars automatically from me once I get a bottle that doesnβt have broken cork on my 3rd visit.
