★ ★ ★ ★ ★ stayed at salang puteri inn last time (so far) 2015 and i have stayed there for 3 times about 2-3 weeks ecery time….love the place Eddie is very helpful with Everything, bungalows with or without AC (i only want fan) Everything is basic bathrom with shower 1 o 2 beds a table small veranda were you can hang your towels snokling and diving stuff sit outside have breakfast... 30 meters from the bubgalows you have a bigger "house" "reception" with refrigeretor and freezer hot water boiler and a big tv with many satelitchannels tv for sport and Movies, the price to stay there is backpacker price very good only 3-4 min to the beach a very nice walk almost in the djungel on the way you have other places to stay and restaurants...if you like cats there everywhere, and big lizzards Walking around but mostly in the river you walk over a small bridge to get to the barch perfect Place to take Pictures of them

Puteri Salang Inn is located away from the beach. It's THE ADVANTAGE for all the people, wich like to have quiet and relaxing evenings. Restaurants are 2 minutes by feet reachable. In the resort they also sell cold drinks. Huts are easy but the common room is outstanding. Hot water, coffee, tea, all things u want. Also cups, spoons, plates you can use for free. The resort is near the jungleside. So sometimes you can see animals. Monkeys, snake or mousedeer! The crew is very lovely and always takes care of its customers.
Great place to stay. Best place to stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I organised our stay through Facebook Messenger with Afdhal who had excellent English, quick at responding and secured our stay straight away for us!
We checked in at Puteri with Zaidi who was very kind and showed us to our garden hut.
We had such a relaxing stay at Puteri. Set back from the beach front, you walk through the luxurious gardens towards the mountainous backdrop, absolutely stunning, you won’t find any other beach on Tioman that has accommodation amongst the jungle. It was so peaceful, very clean, we saw the gardener every day who did a fantastic job maintaining the grounds.
The accommodation was very comfortable. With it being set back, the sun missed the huts in the morning & evening keeping it cool. We had a fan which was nice, but we didn’t use it much as it was nice and cool. Our accommodation was equipped with a brand new mosquito net, double bed, pillows and a powerful shower which was hot if you showered before the sunset. Also table and chairs on our own private veranda which I soaked up some rays in the afternoons.
Thank you so much for having us! We had an amazing time, my husband completed his scuba diving licence with Scuba Guru whilst I relaxed on the island for a few days :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located a bit far off from the beach but walking distance. Stayed at Mara chalet, comfy queen bed at RM60 per night with ensuite clean bathroom. Backpacker price I couldn't resist! Friendly and helpful staff.
If staying near the beach is what you needed, there are other resorts but make your booking early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful nature, trees, monkeys, squirels... to be enjoyed on a sunny day. But a lot of mosquitoes and ants, so I did not spend so much time in the hammocks. And when it is raining, as there is no place to hand clothes inside, everything gets soaked outside on the terrace despite the small roof.
The comfort is very basic, no sink inside the bathroom, and the plastic door was nor closing any more, hardly any hooks or hangers inside, Don't expect too much comfort and hope you have a nice weather so you don't get stuck inside.
The price is not really cheap considering the low quality.
Along was very helpful, is organize a great snorkelling trip to Coral Island, our holidays highlight!! Beware of sunstrokes!!!
