★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good environment. But badly facilities and maintenance. Stayed in standard room, the room carpet was sandy, toilet door not provide lockset, old curtain and cabinet, water heater low in water pressure, no daily room service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A disgusting dirty drain greets you at the entrance infested with monitor lizards about 1m long. Mosquitos are normal all over Tioman, so it's fine.
No room service, stayed 3 days same towel. No room cleaning. No brooms provided. One roll of toilet paper. Deal with the Sandy room yourself. Rooms and funiture old. Exterior well well swept. Interior of room is just dirty... Didn't expect much but didn't expect this...
Breakfast starts 9am. Prepare to eat elsewhere.
Don't suggest this place unless you have no choice..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in a quad room. The stay was unpleasant.
Me and my friend got bitten by some bugs, we suspect there are bed bugs in the room as even we spray on mosquitoes repellent, wear long pants and long sleeves clothes, yet we still got bitten.
No drinking water provided.
There's only ONE roll of toilet paper provided. Should've provide more for 4 ppl that stay for 3 nights.
The toilet door cannot be locked, and hot water is flow is really low. Personally think it's still acceptable but i think the resort can improve on this issue.
Beside that, the resort should provide clothes hanger in the toilet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Modest facilities with fair accommodation quality. Beds, shower, etc is OK. Food is good. Some maintenance not up to the standard. Anyway, the beach nearby is fabulous and very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The last time i went here was about 10 years ago and literally nothing has changed much. But not in a good way. From the thin bedsheet, towels and decor. Dont get me wrong, the place was clean. Just outdated.
The place is near to the beach and also close to the jetty. I personally think salang has the best beach compared to other kampungs. You can already see the coral reefs at the beach.
As for line coverage: zero line for Digi. While maxis has coverage but only during the day. Not sure about others

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are not much variety of food available here(Nasi goreng, mee goreng, burgers...). The price are around RM8-15/dish. Beach view quite nice. The rooms are quite clean with water kettle but sometimes you can see a huge cockroach in your bathroom, and prepare mosquitos repellent because big mosquitoes will come and bite you causing you unable to fall asleep peacefully.
