i went here with my friends sebb nak amik lesen diving and we really love the way they teach and communicate with us, theres like no boundaries at all between students and instructors. we are all just like long-lost-friends tht just got the chance to meet ? and we enjoyed every moments togetherr. i'm so happy and will definitely come here again soon!

Did my PADI Open Water Diver Course here with uni friends between 2/3/2022 - 5/3/2022 and all I can say is it was the *BEST EXPERIENCE EVER*. Really happy that my first PADI course turned out this great and made me feel so sad to leave the island. I miss Tioman alot, but I miss Salang Bay Divers even more. The hospitality, customer service, teaching and facilities are all top notch. It's a very humble dive shop but it's not lacking in any way. All the equipments are well maintained, the toilet is clean and the classroom (where we learn the theoretical side of diving) is very comfortable and has air-conditioning. During our stay, we stayed at Salang Pusaka Indah which is just right beside the dive shop. The resort itself was really comfortable and spacious. Our room did not have a TV nor Wifi but that isn't a problem because we were too busy with our OWDC that we didn't have any time to watch TV or laze around ?. Cockroaches are normal and we aren't very fussy about it. Our tip is, to close the shower drain with something heavy such as the the bucket provided in the toilet. But hey, we're in the habitat of these small critters right? So we don't have any complaints. Just do what you can to live harmoniously with nature and its inhabitants. Not to mention, the whole package was very very affordable. I don't think other dive shops offer this price. For the price we paid, it covered everything from the ferry tickets, resort stay and the PADI course. We only needed to bring some money to buy food (remember to bring small cash like RM5, RM10, RM20 since the restaurants and shops might not have small change). Even our uni lecturers were surprised with the price we paid and the value we got from Salang Bay Divers. Lastly, I'm very very grateful to the people of Salang Bay Divers. Ayoy, Lee, Ayum, Tash who did their absolute best to answer our questions and help us during our stay. They always made funny jokes that made us laugh even when we were extremely tired post-diving hahaha. Really made us feel like we were part of the family. And most importantly, we'd like to thank Hasib, our instructor, who was sooo patient with us. The water was quite cold (27°C) when we did our dives and he was *ALWAYS* the first person to start shivering of coldness. Nevertheless, he never complained and always had a smile on his face. If I were to do my next levels of the PADI diving course, I would request to take it with him again. He's just THAT good. We didn't just leave Tioman with a Open Water Diver license, but we also became more inspired and motivated to learn about the ocean due to Hasib's passion of diving. I could write on and on about this dive shop but I think this is enough ?. InsyaAllah will repeat again in the future.

Had a wonderful dive trip with Salang Bay Divers. Tash, my course instructor was very patient throughout. He always gave me clear instructions and provided me with the utmost confidence to complete the course - maintaining safety as the key priority. Tash was very flexible in planning the course to suit our schedules and provided convenience as a one-stop service - helping us with our ferry and accommodation bookings. The entire crew at Salang Bay Divers was extremely hospitable and kind - always giving their divers 100% support with equipment, dive preps, etc. They welcomed us with warm smiles everyday and made us feel like a part of their dive family throughout our stay. The five days I spent at Tioman with them was definitely an experience to remember, and there’s nothing but great words to say about Salang Bay Divers ? Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to learn diving or just going on leisure dives with their Divemasters. Tash - Thank you very much for being such a gracious host. We will see you soon in Indonesia or Maldives for more diving adventures in future!
