As someone with anxiety, the lighting that is gloomy is suitable for me. Dine in here after the pandemic. Food taste still good but the price increased (I think) and portion size has been reduced. This is what I felt. However, the service is good. Yeah, will come again for sure..once a while....

No-frills neighbourhood cafe with friendly staff. Ideal place for to chill quietly alone or with small groups. I loved the iced chocolate with macademia syrup, highly recommended. The pulled beef sandwich is simple and tasty as they added in dijon mustard to give it a little kick. The big breakfast is also very satisfying.

My go-to cafe for coffee, sandwich, and pesto (and to get inspiration to write). I would have given them 5 stars if this place has better natural lighting.

Ordered big breakfast (RM25). Tasty but would prefer the meal to be less oily. Portion was okay. No additional charges imposed (tax etc). Parking wise, okay during weekdays and quite hard to find parking during weekends. Good customer service. Will come again and recommended.

Love the drinks... yummy. The food were OK tho. Not much of a choice if you are allergic to gluten. ..

Went here on 11th January 2021 with my family. We ordered Pesto spaghetti with chicken, pesto chicken sandwich, mushroom n cheese sandwich and flat white coffee. The pesto itself is the wrong color, it's too dark, too oily, no nutty flavor, too much garlic and no parmigiano taste. The pesto spaghetti felt stir-fried and was very oily, did not have that bright green color. The chicken in both dishes (pasta+sandwich) was hard, dry and tasted like tandoori. The bread they used for the sandwiches was the basic white bread for roti bakar and sliced too thick. Both sandwiches only had 2 small slices of tomato (it's non-existent in the photos because of how small it is). The color and taste of caramelized onion in the mushroom and cheese sandwich was too light and too sweet. The mushrooms were bland and the cheese taste like the kraft sandwich cheese slices. My mom said the coffee was OK. They have good quality ingredients but don't know how to use it to its full potential. Sad. Unsurprisingly, we will not come back here.

Along a lovely neighbourhood strip in TTDI area where lots of cafes and restaurants jostle with each other Quartet is worth getting to know too. Very stylish looking place with a central square 'bar' and good quality seating arranged around it plus an appealing looking outside area at the front. I know some people in reviews have mentioned the low lighting which is true but personally I like that - I think it's more in keeping with the vibe they're going for. Service was friendly and efficient and price was expected for the area/type of place. Iced coffee we had was excellent as was caramel macchiato - I can't review based on food because I didn't have any this time but there's some good looking choices on the menu plus a few cakes though I think most were sold by 2pm when we were there. Really enjoyed the buzzing but convivial atmosphere of the place will return soon hopefully. There's also some highchairs If needed. Having been here a few times since my original review I can say the food is pretty good not amazing or anything but on par with what you would expect for the establishment. Pesto chicken is their best seller and I would say it's probably the best option - very tasty and just the right size for a decent lunch and under 17RM as well. I think the interior could do with a little more love here and there just in terms of aesthetics really. The thing that does seem to let them down is an often mystifying lack of cakes - sometimes there's literally none - I don't really understand why that is!? Still I do enjoy coming here a lot.
