β β β β β I've only been once with my wife but the food was great - I had the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup and at 22RM was very happy - the sourdough is probably the highlight of this place (you can buy it to take away as well fyi). The latte was only 7RM I think and it was just as good as similar cafes where you'll pay a lot more. Portions are big as well so worth being aware before you order.
I could imagine that the service might be slow at busy times - there was nothing wrong with the service but it was a bit ponderous but that's often the way in Malaysia. Some really nice interior decor touched especially the balcony but perhaps more could be made of it in general as it's lacking some style in parts which would befit a place of this quality more than it does now though obvs that's expensive so not always easy especially at the moment.
Overall great food and place to come so definitely recommend it for lunch and coffee.

β β β β β Chipotle Grill Cheese with tomato soup - the bread was fluffy on the inside, crunchy on the skin and the cheese was tasty. 9/10
Crabmeat Scramble Eggs - overall taste ok ok only. Could have seasoned it better. 7.5/10
Long Black - great cuppa at only Rm5! 10/10

β β β β β You cannot beat dough and dolce's grilled cheese sandwich with soup for 25rm I think! Cheap for coffee too and cute setting with a little outside balcony too. Does takeaway sourdough which is also excellent.

β β β β β The coffee is great. Ambience is calm and peaceful.. Great place for quick lunch or hangout with friends.
Less selection menu but delicious food.
They even would recommend you their best sellers.
Will come again.

β β β β β Great choice for breakfast - busy but calm. Had the crab meat scrambled egg & would totally recommend.
Not a space for group dining deffo - but for intimate catch-ups do consider them!

β β β β β Had a simple brunch herr specialising in sourdough breads. ?
There is a nice variety of sandwiches, toasties & sourdough pizzas but we went with only two of their bestsellers:
1β£ Crab Meat Scrambled Eggs with Chilli Oil on Sourdough Toasts - we love this! Fluffy, eggy scrambled eggs, pieces of crab's claw meat scattered with a touch of spice from the chilli oil, on top of a piece of toast ?
2οΈβ£ Birria Tacos - We loved this even more! Tortillas filled with tender stewed beef, guacomole & Cheese, with super flavourful stew dipping makes this a really hearty, satisfying comfort food
Round the meal up with their latte & mocha coffee & its complete. ?
We were there at around 11am, arriving just in time as the lunch crowd started coming. Take note also that if you're there too early, some lunch options may not be available yet. β
Service can be a little lacking, staff are friendly but if its your first time here, you might be a little lost cause the wait staff just shows you to your table but don't give any instructions on how to order.
There are now physical menus, they're on the blackboard beside the counter. Decide what you want & go to the counter to order, then pay.
Overall, we enjoyed the food & would love to come back again for more!

β β β β β Rarely I have experienced quality western cuisine cooked to perfection. It is worth the pricey spectrum and the portion is generous. Tried numerous times, and I highly recommend grilled cheese sandwich, beef brisket with fries as the mains. Will try the pizzas another time.
Please grab the grilled cheese sandwich or beef brisket fast as they run out before 3pm.
I can definitely recommend that this place uplifts your mood, especially during offpeak times as the environment feels like you are immersed in nature. Perhaps have a seat outside?

β β β β β I can see why thereβs a queue during Sunday brunch! The butter cream chilli clams with sourdough was so satisfyingly good. This was the groupβs favourite. The sauce had just the right amount of thickness and goes so well with the sourdough. It was a shame we didnβt get more bread to go with it. We ended up just drinking the remaining creamy sauce!
Grilled cheese sourdough with tomato soup was our next favourite. You can never go wrong with cheese on sourdough and they manage to toast them just right with cheese oozing at every bite. Tomato soup was delicious too. We enjoyed it even more on its own.
Didnβt quite enjoy the tacos and crab egg sandwich. It was pretty mediocre. Nonetheless this place is definitely worth visiting for their butter cream chilli clams!
The space was pretty too and service was good!
