Rest and Recharge (R&R)Sungai Perak Northbound is located in North-South Express highway were you can find all seasonal fruits of Malaysia ??. We stoped here for a while, the market was sweet scented as we entered into, u cannot escape from the “king durian “ I tasted mixed fruit jar ? finally narrowed down to mango “?” guava & pineapple “?” it was mouthwatering ?..

A walk through under the bridge to the South bound R&R ... Cool air even during hot weather ... Close up view of the Perak River .. . I dont think there is any other R&R like this throughout Plus Highway ...

T	T D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The area looks nice and clean. Toilets and praying room is well maintained as well. The food was average at best. One annoying thing is the way to the OKU park. Why does it have a small steps instead of a ramp? Hope management will improve on this.

One special stall will give absolute dining delight - Aini Sajian Selera. This eatery offers quite a variety of dishes but what you should not miss is its ikan patin masak tempoyak dish. You should give this dish a try especially when it is just cooked and steaming hot. Because? You will feel that the rest of your journey will be complete ☺️
M	MS Ahad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in the district of Kuala Kangsar, Perak. That is on the PLUS Highway route between Ipoh to Kuala Kangsar. Sungai Perak Rest & Treatment Area is a relatively small and dense rest area. The North and South rest areas are just next door and you can access both sides of the R&R via the walkway/underpass. But only pedestrians because the connecting road is closed. Why is this R&R so special? It is one of the R&R PLUS areas located on the banks of the Perak River and there is a jetty that you can access. Meaning, this R&R can also be accessible by anyone who takes a boat down the Perak River. Apart from that, Sungai Perak R&R also has an observation tower that you can climb at certain times (during the day only since PKP was implemented). From this tower you can see the beautiful view of the Perak River Bridge, Jetty and river water flow.
