★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good. Ambience is even better. There are many places in this restaurant to take nice photos, with the nice Christmas decorations. This is a huge place, and plants everywhere. Price of food is expensive though. I ordered a fried rice, small portion for RM 38, but it tastes really good. Best to make reservations early.

Although this is not really a super upmarket fine dining restaurant, you will still get to enjoy similar services. The food is well made and tatse great. Although there is no special flare or anything , you won't be disappointed either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambience of this place is stellar! If you are a fan of garden restaurants, and insta-worthy places, then this is the place for you. The food is on the pricier side of Penang but the lamb rack and lamb shank my family ordered was really cooked to perfection. Unfortunately though other dishes like their chicken and pasta are so so only, but I guess the overall ambience and service of the place makes up for it.
This place is situated a walking distance from Hard Rock and Golden Sands hotel, and parking is a plenty for the restaurant. Overall, a great place for family, a nice date or even a place to wind down after a hectic day by the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered 1 mushrooms chicken breast, herb lamb, 1 mushrooms soup, 1 cappuccino. Chicken juicy and fresh, the sauce just nice wont greasy. The lamb well prepared as very soft without strong sheep smell, the mint sauce best match. Mushroom soup rich with mushrooms and creamy. Cappuccino so smooth. Overall we like it and rated 100% highly recommended. Worth with this price. Good service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staffs are friendly and attentive. The environment is comfortable and feels like dining in the garden. There’s flowers and plants everywhere. Good things here is i don’t bite by mosquitoes. Food is good taste and portions are big.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well .. it’s hard to not giving a good comment.. the rib eyes was so tender but a bit salty to me maybe because I don’t eat salty food. And the scallops super delicious also the brownies. Overall the food not disappointing. And talk about environment was so so beautiful. I’m a orchid lover n lots of beautiful orchid there .. each steak cost around Rm 345

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always lovely to come back to Ferringhi Garden, the grand old dame of fine dining restaurants in Penang. The ambience/atmosphere attached to this place is really one of its kind and offers a really serene place to dine.
Nevertheless I’d have to say that food taste can be improved further, for example to use more spices in its Western food to bring out more flavours of the seafood/meat. In my opinion, unfortunately the food lacks certain oomph to bring it to a 4-star level.

Too bad the portion is a bit small, especially the lamb shank that I ordered.
The miso cod was simply fabulous.
The desserts were average only.
Staffs were all very friendly.
