★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to find but parking is a little bit hassle. A place for simple and great food. Steam fish done with a different styles with mixtures of seafood, fish maw porridge, simple Chinese Cuisines, Fried Noodles, Fried Tofu with sauces taste good and reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shop looks abit dodgy in a semi industrial area. Dont be fooled by the looks of this shop, its just an extremely old shop in the middle of Batu Caves with great staple food.. Utensils will give you a nostalgic feeling that its in business for more than 20 years.
Very good Dai Chao and porridge, an everyday meal indeed. Loved the Wat Tan Hor which is slightly lesser comparable for their friend near the corner of the shop. However Hokkien Mee is a bit disappointing, needs improvement.
Price is slightly higher than average but looking at this which is one of the few Chinese makan place near this area, I would say this ia a great place to have your staple food.
Has more choices comparing to their friend. Come and try laa!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come here if you are tired and can't wait for the famous restaurant nearby. Claypot fish porridge and Mee goreng are fantastic! Very delicious and fast service! More importantly no need to wait!
We were here again today. And I can confirm that the taste of the food have improved a lot! Porridge as usual is very good! Should be your first choice if you are here for the home style Chinese tai chao. Patrons are mostly locals, families and office workers nearby. No tourists spotted. Good and fast service, reasonable price and most importantly need not wait that long!

Not bad of a food quality I would say, pricing was good and portion was just nice to feed 8 of us.
The environment was a little old though, like eating at someone's backyard.
Could spend a little bit more attention to cleanliness and tidiness. That would've been more appetite optically.
