Me and my husband went for lunch, wasn't greeted when we came in. At first I didn't think of it as a big deal but when 2 foreigners came in, they were greeted so well and the waiter had a smile on his face the entire time serving them but had no interest in taking our orders or treating us the same way and also did not treat the couple that was sitting in the opposite of us well also. Ordered 2 sets of vegetarian thali, food was 4/10. Rasem was so watery, it had no taste in it. Felt like drinking tamarind water. The kesari was so delicious but kinda sweet. Requested the waiter to change my iced tea cause it had no taste and he showed such dissatisfaction. I paid for my meal just like the foreigners did, wasnt rude to any of the staff then why was I not treated like how a customer should be treated? Why was I treated as if I owed the cashier something? And not even a THANK YOU when I paid my bill!!! NEVER EVER GOING THERE ANYMORE!

We stopped here for a late lunch last Friday. Ordered the South Indian Thali, which was such a let down. The reason I giving them 3 stars is because the food quality and standard has clearly dropped. The hygiene level of the toilets and hand washing facilities are totally unacceptable. I must admit that the staff were really unmotivated and feeling rather really tired and low. Not sure if it is because after a very busy Friday afternoon lunchtime. I hope the staff are rewarded by the management as they are the backbone of the service industry.

30.12 their breakfast was good but when I back for dinner on the same day and omg....Super disappointing, We ask for deep fry mushroom and we got mushroom mancurian "so called mushroom mancurian" taste was nothing close to mancurian Later we requested for panner mancurian - mayb the cook got angry we return his food earlier - instead of chili panner their serve us panner with chilipowder gravy (raw taste of chili powder was still there on the food that they serve us.. When we told the staff the food was tasteless and still raw he kept himself silent and ignored us... This is not my 1st experience at this store... But today I decide to give a review so that others know what how this people will treat their customer if u reject their food..... Saravana bhavan is good for tosai but nothing else....

Their so called 'badam' milk. Cow's milk with hint of turmeric to make it look like badam milk and a pinch of almond nibs. I wonder what these people are thinking! We the consumers/cusotmers don't know how a badam milk taste or look like?

The paper roast dosa was amazing, crispy crispy crispy. The chutneys were mediocre though and rather watery, maybe because I like it stronger. The banana leaf is not what I'd go for again because I like my banana leaf banjir-ed with potent tasting curry. The vege side dish (Cabbage one) was well seasoned. Others were on the milder side of things.

Came here for breakfast. Would rather say the quality has deteriorated. The vadai was nice but was soggy n oily. Had masala thosai but the masala was only placed at the center of the thosai. While, ghee roast was the nicest of all. Poori was ok too and it wasn't oily at all. Chutneys were bit watery so I preferred sambar instead. Overall ok but would prefer leboh Ampang restaurant instead of this. Paid nearly RM70 for 3 pax but included with small portion of halwa.

?Saravanaa Bhavan Brickfields With so much competition on superb Indian cuisine at Brickfields, I thought the food here would be amazing. Cauliflower Manchurian was soggy in texture. The Briyani rice was acceptable, but the curries were not outstanding as I thought them to be. Despite this, the presentation of the food is lovely. Perhaps they had a bad day.
