We had the Hainanese Chicken Chop (hubby says this beats Yut Kee) and Hainanese Pork Chop (it's like a huge pork cutlet. Yum!). There is other dishes to try next time. Pork ribs wasn't available earlier, so we had sweet sour pork.

Old school rice One of the most talkabout place whenever we passed by Brickfields would be Sin Kee, one of the few Chinese restaurants around the Little India in Kuala Lumpur. She would reminiscent on how on limited budget per month, she would come here for a quick lunch before or after her class in BAC. She must have missed it very much so one day she jio-ed me out of the blue to have lunch there with the 3 little monsters in tow. She wanted them to know the tough time that she'd gone through in the past while sitting for her CLP. Lucky stars were upon us that day - we found parking not far from the restaurant and quickly made out way here. β—ΎMun fan or braised rice - a simple dish where the braised rice was served on plastic plate, covered with a red bowl. I just lifted it up to reveal all the goodness inside - rice soaked with the dark gravy together with fish cake slices, pork fillet and lettuce. A simple dish that went well with the chopped cili padi and soy sauce. β—ΎSweet & sour pork chop - the sonny didn't want rice so he opted for the pork chop,a classic Hainanese dish where the nice and relatively thick pork chop was deep fried and doused generously with sweet & sour sauce, completed with grilled tomato and fries on the side. The rice might be normal and common dish, but this was something that the other half missed. For me, it was nothing special but to see the joy in her eyes when eating every scoop, it brought joy to me too. A typical Chinese restaurant that you won't notice if you don't pay attention enough, the crowd was still strong after all these years.

Ordered fried rice and chicken chop. Waited close to an hour, as we went during lunch break (12 noon ), they focus on giving out orders for those making take away orders, so you got to wait longer. I find the price bit over priced for the food, for a normal non-AC shop RM 16 chicken chop, not the usual chicken chop, it's the minced meat, I didn't like it RM 12 Chicken fried rice

Food is still as amazing as it’s used to be! Ordered the Sin Kee Stewed Rice which comes in a bowl for you to lift up. Options are available to be served without pork. Do note this place is not halal.

Being eating in this shop for the last 39 years. Food taste the same....manage by the son now for the number of years.the owner passed away a year ago. typical hainanese for..nothing fancy. they still command many old loyal patrons..i just hope they'll prevail as they have increased the prices way too high.....in this competitive times. Still love the chicken chop n steam rice.....their signature

We had the 3 popular items. Was there at 6pm, food served at 6.45pm. Looks like kitchen on fired up the stove not earlier than 6pm. Steamed/braised rice RM12 - dark soy but not salty. Decent amount of prok slices, 1 egg, some cabbage. Large portion. Pork chop RM16 - not a true pork chop, but mince meat patty, doused in brown gravy. Potatoes wedges was good, not the frozen kind Chicken chop RM16 - chicken leg part, same preparation as pork chop Overall pricier than most other Chinese restaurants. And to out up with long waiting time.
