★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yee Look is divide to morning session and afternoon + evening session. For the morning session, the chicken rice is a good option to have, the pan mee is a hit and miss most of the time, the coffee and teh here are diluted and cheap. For afternoon + evening session, the Chinese tea are low quality, the Chinese small fried is sub par quality compare to its better days. So my verdict is 2 star and all that stars come from chicken rice stall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A typical traditional Chinese restaurant (corner lot), it is not air-conditioned, as to be expected. It can be easily found because it is located just opposite The Store, an obvious landmark. Since it is situated in a busy business area, there is always a crowd at peak hours.
I have been here a few times with my family for dinner. Food is tasty and the service is fast. It doesn't take too long for food to be served.
Today, for a group of 5, we had fried fish fillet with ginger & shallot, hot plate minced meat tofu with egg, sweet sour pork and fried sambal kangkong .... A happy selection to go with hot rice & a pot of Chinese tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time here. In my opinion, the Chicken Rice should be one of the best in town...chicken is tender and soft-chewed...the rice is best so aromatic..with its delicious chili sauce...almost perfect! ...will come back for more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is ok. But becareful what you order. Basicalky if not careful you will get salty dishes. Also careful those funny dishes like fish which sometimes hard like rubber. Overall food not bad just watch out for weird cooking menu with slightly expensive. You eill feel weird after spending the meal at that price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An obscured pan mee shop run by a 60 something lady who is clean and meticulous in her preparation. She doesn't need to labor for survival but merely occupying herself to keep dementia at bay. She is studious and methodical in her work even when the orders are pouring in. The pan mee is either churned out from dough in long strands by a manual roller or painstakingly hand peeled into bite size.
It comes with clear and smooth soup which I prefer or with black soy sauce. The pan mee is cooked just right neither too soft or hard. The ingredients are varied which include deep fried anchovies, spinach, fish ball, tofu pok with an extra beancurd ful pei for a good lunch which you will return for more like me which is one of my favorite lunch rendezvous of late.
