★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant deserves a special shout not due to the fact that it's offering pure Hakka dishes but also above average for most of the dishes. And it is located in Klang of all the places, an area predominantly Hokkien and famous for bah kut teh and seafood. I saw one of my close friend cum customer posting a lot of mouth watering Hakka dishes and that prompted me to text him.
It turns out that the restaurant is opened by his eldest aunt and managed by his cousin - I gave him an earful for not bringing me here sooner. Everytime I looked for him it was always seafood or BKT! So he sent me the location and Waze brought me right to the door front. I managed to have a small chat with his cousin - everything was made from scratch to ensure the freshness
◾Taking up two shoplots, the whole restaurant was quite spacious but could get stuffy as it seriously need proper ventilation.
◾I witnessed first hand his cousin wrapping the bah Chang on the spot and I asked for one to try - I can say that they use good quality ingredients.. dried oysters, salted egg yolk (this is the indicator), braised pork belly. She told me that her loyal customers from outstation always pack to bring back to their respective places. I agree.. one of the better ones I'd tried
◾Hakka spring roll - available in limited quantity on weekly basis, I squeezed the lime for the zing.. not the best but good enough
◾Hakka five spices pork (zha yuk) - I can't stop eating.. love the black fungus and the pork flavour. Order this
◾ braised pork trottter - both adult and kids alike will find this appetising.
◾Yong tau Fu - like I said earlier, everything was made from scratch and it sure tasted fresh and delicious.
◾Hakka noodle - homemade and the texture was as I expected.. springy. They could do better with the sauce though. Oh yes.. the minced meat was good. I had this with braised chicken feet & mushroom
◾another best seller is their Fu chuk barley
◾I've spotted the abacus dish and stuffed oysters (both traditional Hakka dishes too) but didn't order because I could not stomach anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Homemade fresh, Super springy hakka noodles with the right mix of savory from minced mix and with a bit of bean paste. Real satisfied after finishing with barley gingko. See how thick and rich the kppi-O is.. Super satisfied
