★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dishes are nice, I liked the option of fixed price fish (25RM for large), with different styles of cooking available.
Recommended dishes: ginger and spring onion fish. Brinjal cooked with sambal. Black pepper chicken.
What you might not like: wait for food was quite long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dishes not bad. Assam stingray not so nice as the fish is boiled and then only covered with the sauce. Thus fish is quite tasteless. The fried pork belly with soy sauce is tasty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small restaurant but offering good fried noodle ( hor fun ) mainly with beef. Beef is very tender n tasty. The restaurant is very clean n service is quick too. Quite a crowd during lunchtime. Prices are very favourable. Will return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw others review that the steamed egg (三王蛋) is nice but actually not really. It’s like egg with soy sauce only, thus quite salty. And is quite normal. Another recommended dish was 咸鱼芽菜(salty fish bean sprout). This is more disappointing. The salty fish taste was not emerge in the bean sprout and hence it taste like eating normal fried bean sprout at mix rice shop. Not recommended. You definitely can find better taste somewhere else. Sincere review >.^

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well known among locals for lunch and dinner. They have an extensive menu for individual dishes (tip chai farn) to ala carte. I would say most of the dishes here is tasty and good with a reasonably priced. The only setback is parking especially day time when the parking is limited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is very popular with the locals here, I was told. Generally, the cooking is good but you have to prepare to wait for your food. We waited more than 30 minutes for ours and was there about 6pm. So many people 'ta pau' and yet slowly the tables were all taken up. The deep fried prawns was light and crispy ..... nicely done. Like the sweet and sour pork which was rather tasty with the accompanying sauce. As you know, Ipoh is also famous for their bean spouts being big and crunchy. Fried with salted fish was so flavourful and appetizing.....thumbs-up! The soup of the day was steam lotus roots with pork ribs was really flavourful, came out streaming hot. To sum up, this place offer good quality food with an affordable price tag.
