★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for lunch on 18th Feb 22...The person serving the food was totally rude, I am a calm and accomodating person but this guy just ticked me off.
It was 3pm and I was there with my family of 5.The guy serving the rice and curry acted as if we were intruding his time, he was sulking and when I told him half rice with no salted egg he gave me a stare and said why I did not say it earlier, I did not know he was serving me because when I told him 5 nasi kandar he didn't acknowledge or indicate he was serving me. He started sulking.
It really spoilt the family mood.
My wife suggested we go to Hj Gany Nasi Kandar just a few meters away.
I have eaten at Salim many times on my way to Penang but that was at Salim Taman Tokong, The guys there are always cheerful and friendly.
Worst experience ever at this restaurant and that is why 1 Star.
I will never go back there again?

try today curry ikan bawal & telur rebus nasi kandar, mixed gravy very tasty worth it. And its cheaper here.
Nasi ganja not so good anymore.
Would recommend to friend to try here..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice bryani rice, be prepared for an endless queue. Takeaway is very slow, could be much more organised knowing that people will be coming in especially for lunch whether to dine in or takeaway. Parking is also difficult. Lucky if you could get a parking lot. Food is good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best nasi kandar in Ipoh. I went there late evening. So most of the nasi kandar dishes were already finished except the Ayam Masala. Good taste. Waiters are also helpful. Price is good too.
