★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is absolutely using MSG in thier all dishes including all Vegetables, Curry's and also Rasam. Very often I used to eat at this outlet ..my favourite is Rasam. However whenever after consuming Rice & vegetables and Rasam at Night one can felt throut would start to fill uncomfortable and thirsty all night. After I completely stopped eating at this outlet more than two months, now I fill refreshed and no more throut pain or thirsty at night. To all consumers, my humble request please try to compare your throut during night if you're constantly eating in this outlet. Fyi, I used to drink thier Rasam one or two cups sometime even three cups during or after complete their meal...and at night I felt terrible uneasiness at my throut due to thier excessive use of MSG. Also occasionally thier service also lousy...there are some occasions I used to order as per thier menu like mushrooms Dosa but regretly received oily potatoes Dosa. I don't want to question them because they might be doing other unwanted things on your food at thier kitchen preparation area..hope you guys understand what I mean. Now after completely I stopped eating in this outlet more than 5 months..now my body & my throut felling healthy.No more throut pain expecially at night & uncomfortable body felling. Finally for those eaters at this restaurant beware of the thier excessive usage of MSG. This MSG urge we want more to eat and of cause very nice... because it's not Original Species but merely artificial recipe of MSG. Stay healthy ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An authentic Indian Restaurant chain originated from Penang Island. Serves varieties of both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian food at reasonable prices. Friendly & courteous, nice lighting, cleanliness and good ambience adds more quality to it. Do drop by if you are in Brickfields.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very late service and poor attitude from the staffs especially the cashier. Firstly, we ordered for 1 Roti Canai, 1 tea tarik, 1 air suam (which I then cancelled immediately and asked for 100plus), and 1 poori (take away). Then got the roti canai within 5mins. Ate the roti canai but never get the drinks at all. Asked again about the status of the drinks (approximately 20mins after receiving the roti canai) then the the same staff from whom I took order then said "no 100plus". Hence, I told him just give me a cup of tea, and poori bungkus is enough. Like after 10mins the staff so confidently came and gave tea bungkus to me. I told him I asked to drink here and not take away. He then pour the tea inside a glass and gave to me. It took nearly 7mins for me to finish drinking the tea. Then I asked the same staffwhether the poori ready... he then told me( in tamil) "anne, the master is cooking, we only have 1 chef so he can only cooking one at a time, so, please wait (he sounded authoritative, debating,and not polite). I told him "how do i know whether the master is only 1 person or not... you should have the courtesy to inform me... you kept me waiting in the darkness for more than 30mins. Even 100 plus when i asked 2x only then you told me you dont have any 100Plus""... Then I waited for another 7mins and finally got the poori.
Then I proceeded to the counter to pay. The cashier listed out with me orally the order ( and told me air suam also). I told him I've cancelled the air suam. He then proceeded with the payment, and told me its Rm6.60. Upon payment I took the bill and proceeded to the exit. Then I realized he included the air suam(RM0.40) (even after i told him about the cancellation), and i went to him again and told him i already told you i didnt take the air suam. He then very rudely and annoyed looking face took the receipt, threw it into unto table, and very rudely took rm30sen from the cahcier machine and gave it to me (as i i owed money to him). He didnt even look at my face nor apologise to me for charging me on something i told him a few seconds ago before ge billed me (whether deliberately or not the fella only knows). I really felt super annoyed with how the staffs ESPECIALLY THE CASHIER treated me. I was so pisses with his attitude, and i didnt get the balance rm0.10 sen. I was afraid that i might yelled at him.
The roti canai was good. I dont deny that, but with such bad attitude staffs, the restaurant would lose more customers.
Hope the owner will take note of my complain, and look into my complain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good. Prices are reasonable. Customer service is awful if you are foreigner. They see that I look like foreigner, so I get 2nd class treatment...even though I have eaten at this place more than 10 times. Absolutely ridiculous

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had banana leaf with chicken masala and ladies fingers. It was alright, nothing impressive. The teh halia was refreshing. Service was ok, some of the servers can't seem to communicate in Bahasa or English. The restaurant is clean and appears to be popular among the lunch crowd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Murtabak ayam and kottu parotha taste good. Bru coffee taste very sweet should told them less sugar. Price a bit high compared to other nearby restaurants. Chicken 65 is RM7 for 6 small pieces. Poor air ventilation inside the shop. Overall is good.
