Restoran Kari Kepala Ikan Noordin Bidor (Since 1997)

Located at Bidor town, this shop will be easily overlooked if you are not in the look out for nice food. On recommendation by friend, a group of us intentionally travelled and pay a visit to the restaurant. We ordered honey curry chicken, their signature dish and curry fish head. It never disappoints us. The fish is really fresh and curry is spicy , rich and delicious. The honey curry chicken must eat with the sauce they provided, the flavor of the sauce make the meat tastier. It is really good meal with reasonable price.

Simply one of da best kari kepala ikan ive tasted. Price depends on fish type. I tried Jenahak n it was da bomb. Fresh fish.

The nasi kandar goes well with the chicken worth it for the money.

Influenced by high rating and good comments given, so I tried the famous ayam sambal ..hmmm taste just so so. My son ordered kari ayam..taste like ayam rebus only ?? The fish head curry not to my standard of expectation. Normal curry only. Well... nothing to wow about. Price wise is ok. Cleanliness is ok.

It has been a while since I had a great nasi kandar experience. Normally I won't purposely look for nasi kandar because I knew that I couldn't resist ordering more than I should. But this time I followed the general consensus so ?? Apparently this is the most famous Kari Kepala Ikan place in Bidor that our associate told us when he called up in advance to reserve the curry fish head for our group. After the meeting we headed straight to the shop located along the main road of this sleepy town. I only know about the Pun Chun herbal duck soup. The queue was long when we arrived but it was for takeaway. The tables inside the restaurant were mostly taken up but we managed to get one anyway. We were in for a feast when all the dishes were served in front of us. ◾Kari Kepala Ikan aka curry fish head - the sheer size of the fish head alone can easily feed 8-10 eaters. The curry was so addictive to go with the rice + the sweetish blackish sambal made it like an icing on the cake to sweeten everything's up. Devoured by 6 grown men effortlessly. ◾Ayam madu berempah - although the fish head was the highlight, I secretly wowed by the flavour of the chicken dish that we had to order a second helping. Everyone raved about how everything hit the right spot. Must order!! ◾deep fried gizzard and liver - love the gizzard but the liver didn't make it (a little gamy) ◾Sambal telur ◾Pickled cucumber - something to cut down the thick and rich curry sauce. I saw a very good looking sotong masak lemak (if my experience didn't fail me) but it was sold out. One must call to reserve the fish head and sotong because of the limited availability everyday. Whole lot of good food and I walloped everything although I was not supposed to eat rice but I couldn't help it. I HAD FOOD COMA AFTER THAT

Terrific food with fantastic service. Standouts, for me, were the mee goreng mamak and kari kambing - absolutely amazing. Well worth a detour.

First of all, I came all the way from Kuala Lumpur with my family to get their infamous “Kari Kepala Ikan” & “Ayam Masak Sambal”. I’d admitted it is our fault did not make a reservation at the first place but the MAIN reasons why I am so frustrated and mad at the same time is the RUDENESS I got from the Workers (especially the MakCik in Red Tudung as the pictures that I have attached with). I have no other things to say EXCEPT this. I came with a Happy Mood and then this happened. I am sorry but I just had to say it out loud.
