1) overall - clean environment, reasonable price, fast service, spacious seating, Chinese Stir fry cuisine from Restoran Khiong Kee
2) Winged bean with anchovies stir fry 四面豆 tasted yum as the vegetable was cooked just in time for us to feel the “crispy-ness”. It got better when they top with fried anchovies.
3) roast chicken was awesome. The chicken was juicy and it got soaked into flavourful generous sesame soy sauce combo. So good
4) Stir fry pumpkin with Choi sum 金瓜菜心 caught our eyes when we read through the menu wall. Pumpkin was so soft and it paired with Choi sum, it was an interesting combo and it tasted good
5) Black bean tofu fish 余香豆腐鱼 tasted average. The black bean sauce was good but I personally did not enjoy the fish meat as it was a little too soft for my liking
6) Assam sotong tasted normal.
7) Steam tofu 葱油豆腐 - tofu was very soft and the dried prawn tops are awesome
8) Soy sauce prawn 豉油炒虾 tasted awesomely good, the prawns were big and certainly fresh, it was not just normal stir fry with soy sauce, the chef had added onion to the dish, the smell and the taste of the little charred onion mix well in the dish
9) Stir fry choy sum 清炒菜心 was simply delicious with wok hei
10) Sweet and sour pork 咕咾肉 tasted above average where you will find the meat were not coated with plenty of flour but real meat, it got fried to crunchy and mix well with the sauce. Normal dish but tasted good
11) Steam cabbage 蒸包菜 was a little too raw for our liking and the cut of the vegetable was a little too big to put into mouth, other than that, it was good with the dried prawn on top
12) Dry prawn tofu 虾米豆腐 was good, tofu was fried but inner remained soft
13) Steam eggs 蒸蛋 tasted tip top. So soft but a little oily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old restaurant in a new shop. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Street side paid parking.
Food is fresh and tasty. Popular with the locals.
The haruan we ordered was fresh but not wild caught. The pumpkin paku pakis is unique.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good food at reasonable prices. For our family of 4 (2 children), we had the steamed Haruan (river fish, not farmed), marmite chicken and vegetables (I think they were young choy sum). Really big portions for the 4 of us and it only cost less than RM100. The fish was almost 1kg and really steamed perfectly. The vegetables were also sweet, juicy and ultra-fresh. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprising find on my way from Cameron Highlands back to KL. Definitely worth driving to the small town for the heavenly good food. We ordered their famous signature dishes - pumpkin vege and mamee sauce chicken. Love it! Esp the chicken is finger licking good. Lala soup is quite unique but a bit bland to my taste. Overall very satisfied with the food, price is reasonable. Will be back here.
