mostly local eats here, hard to find tourist.
their famous dish is hokkian mee, but i ordered lo mie instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you miss the hokkien noodles fried in the alley besides Lai Foong coffee shop, the business has moved to Setapak. Gone are the steep competition from Kim Lian Kee and the charcoal stove, as well as the nightly four legged rodent entertainers. Sadly, gone is also the taste. The Hokkien Mee for 2 pax @RM16.00 was presented dry, devoid of black soya sauce... a sure warning sign from cooking 2 orders simultaneously in the same wok. The compromise is a very clean A-rated hygiene restaurant with proper COVID-19 SOP. So, gone is the good old Chinatown ambience too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although hokkien Mee is their signature dish, but they failed to deliver it. The taste of the dark soy sauce is not there and the taste is rather plain. Wat Tan Hor is above average but not really outstanding. Overall a mediocre noodle stall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit of an over hyped restaurant that specializes in noodles with some side condiments. Visited it due to word of mouth, found out that their signature Hokkien noodles is a bit too oily for my liking. As I ate alone this time, didn't have much room to order other dishes and based on just this 1 dish , I would honestly rate its taste as ordinary at best. Premise looked clean and prices are reasonable but parking is a bit of a nightmare. Recommended if you have ran out of choices in the neighborhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was here for the Hokkien mee, not bad and not great either. I find it lacks the char to it and more pork lard will be great. However the moon kuey teow was good!
The traffic here is ridiculous. So if you are here during lunch time, just park anywhere you can find parking and walk over.
