★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bak kut teh lovers, you will have to try this. Majority might only know Klang bak kut teh, however, i think johor bahru bak kut teh is as good if not better, lol...
The herbal soup is very nice, mixed with the tender pork rib. I recommend to order side dish like the salty vegetable, which will help to relieve you if you think you have too much meat. Others such as white pepper pork stomach, yellow wine chicken, and tau bok are too delicious to be missed.
Of course Chinese tea is a must as a drink to go with bak kut teh. This restaurant is one of the best bak kut teh in JB.

It’s good to see the boss and his whole family serving customers, always with a smile.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the bak kut teh and sesame chicken, with beancurd skin and veges. Nice flavor to the broth, no complaints. Enjoyed the surroundings, sitting right next to the road but with the nice planter, we did not feel anything. Will be back again even though we are not really Bak kut teh fans to start with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t know why so many people visit. The bkt here isn’t great, the meat is obviously undercooked & as a result it is too chewy.
Outstanding one is the pepper soup (pig stomach) & salty veggie.
Service isn’t the greatest either, keep checking otherwise they may hv forgotten your order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty tasty herbal Ba Ku Teh in the Permas area. Unlike the more bland ones that I have tried previously in the same area. The pork belly was very tender despite the thick cuts. Highly recommend. The liver could have been a little better. Slightly too cooked and does not have the usual crunchy and tender bites.
