I usually don't believe in such coating, but decided to give it a try since it was on promo, 3 layers for my Vellfire I paid rm2.4k if not mistaken and was said to have 3 years warranty, which work out to be rm800 a year, actually also not so worth it. Because you stil need to do car washes. maybe if just do waxing 3 Months once, it'll still be cheaper than 800/year.
So here's my story.
I was supposed to have a 3x FREE BASIC MAINTENANCE for my package. I did it the costing back in Jan 2020. In August 2020 I sent back for the first BASIC MAINTENANCE. Very well done, and no questions asked, no upselling. So this year January I wanted to send back for my 2ND FREE BASIC MAINTENANCE, and I was told I had to pay 700-1000 for RECOATING. I told that person, I have free package, Why need to re-coat? They said it was to prolong the coating. So I ask, what would happen if I do not want the re-coat? They said then the whatever hydrophobic effect will be gone or coating wouldn't last.
Aihh.. So, you guys think la, is it really worth it to spend so much for coating and have to pay to re-coat every year, OR just wash your car more often and wax it every few months?
