β β β β β Best place to hold a function like dinner and dance. Big place for ballroom dancing. Parking place for dinner guests are available at B-1-A, B-2A, B-3A. However a little confused to locate lift to lobby for the 1st time- a bit far you have to cross over another block of parking lots. At least they care for the guests/ visitors and give an 'A' for visitors- only the parking ???.
Smart casual clothing is mandatory to upkeep the standard of the club which is normal.
The food here is fantastic however, the service need to be improved especially by the server/ waiters/ waitress. Top up of water and tea need to be attended to. There are several times glasses remain empty.
Clean bowls were not exchanged too or due to lack of bowls. Maybe the waitress were temporary or new but early briefing needed to be given to staff to maintain a pro-active and attentive services during the dinner.
Other than that the food and menu was good.
To be fair i like the vast space of the ballroom at Banquet hall ,level 2. There is more than enough space to do a ballroom demo and other dance group performance .
Overall what the guest wanted at the end of the day was to enjoy themselves. The music were well selected and space between Ballroom standard and Latin.
Good to see so many dance couples on the floor.

β β β β β Been here since 1990. Loving the ambient and decor somewhat transport me back in time when we enjoyed the whole day activities like swimming in the morning, playing ping pong to kill time before the movie starts and having family dinner before going home. Miss the curry mee, nasi goreng and char kue tiao. The librarian was super nice back then kudos to Kak Aishah for the suggestion on book.
Miss the good ol'days.

β β β β β Affordable dining for club members. Don't expect good service at these prices. Standards are going downhill. Post pandemic service has improved markedly and the cooking has reached an acceptable plateau. My son's favourite is steamed Atlantic cod fish (RM33 per 100g) which is served with a simple traditional imperial chef soy sauce. My father's favourite yam basket however was poorly cooked with a crumbly oily potato paste. Despite no use of lard, dishes are still palatable, but just barely.

β β β β β Went to Bunga Raya Chinese Restaurant. Very friendly service and excellent food. Fantastic selection of dishes and good portions.
The place was refurbished recently and the ambiance is very warm and welcoming now. Good place for family gatherings and or with friends.

β β β β β Came for the Ramadhan buffet. Seating is quite packed but food is good. Grilled lamb is delicious. Plenty of visitors parking. The building feels nostalgic.
