Ideal location for relaxing from working urban life and connect with nature in addition to all facilities provided including gym and spa. Public transport will be a problem at night.

I've had: 1. Meemak: Portion size was average for someone of my height and size (5"5 and 115 lbs) It was flavorful and rich. Would eat again. 2. Oxtail soup: one of the best things I've ever eaten in my whole entire life. The menu says it stewed for 5 hours. I agree. The broth is rich and probably from scratch. It didn't taste like a boxed powered soup at all. 3. Tom Yum soup: I loved it. Others found it potent. Half the soup is basically herb and spruce. Who cares. The payoff of the broth is worth it. I could feel weakness and illness leaving my body. 4. Chicken burger. The only low point of whatever I ordered here. It was slightly burnt. Even Usain Bolt has a day off. It was a small blight on an otherwise unblemished record of tasty food. 5. Lamb Rendang. Tender. I could taste the individual herbs and spices they used in the sauce. But it all worked. Like a perfect melody. 6. Beef Rendang. The same story as the lamb Rendang. 7. Chicken Satay. Portion size was too small and the meat was sweeter than I would have liked. Eat here. Don't even bother with trying to be "authentic" with the garbage surrounding restaurants (Scarborough Fish and Chips). It's a remote area. The prices aren't that bad here. People who complain are too poor to be staying here at the resort. Are you rich enough to stay at this resort? Then you are rich enough to eat here. Quit your nonsense about it being expensive. It's a steal for the quality of food and amazing view of the Andaman.

We went to the fish farm and was pleasantly surprised. They had fascinating fish to see in their farms. The guides will let you interact with the safe fish like the stingray.

This is the pool bar of Tanjun Rhu Resort Hotel. It is open to the public to use the bar but not the pool. It is well known in the area for its great happy hour that is from 5.30p - 11pm (I believe) every evening. Half price drinks and free snacks.

i have to idea how to rate this restaurant, because i the dining area is clean, nice atmosphere, wine and alcohol drinks were cheap, worth for price; but the food is just taste average for me. 1. I ordered rib eye steak, mid rare, cost RM70+ , from Australia. But the beef was just ttaste like medium well, and the steak was too fibrous and hard to chew. Different people have different preferences on beef, but i rather prefer the beef can what the customer request, and i more prefer the steak is soft, and have fat, so the fat can enhance the overall beef. 2. The oxtail soup is too bland. It is. The soup had been enhanced by heavy curry taste. Oxtail meat is too tender, so I suspected the soup and oxtail been cooked separately. So, once the customer ordered an oxtail soup, they will heat up the broth , then put few pieces of frozen oxtail that just taken out from fridge, then add some salt and curry powder into the soup. Trust me, because i used to cook oxtail soup that better than this. This cost around RM20+. I cant blame because it is halal restaurant, they cant add wine into the soup.. 3. The dessert is quite a fail food. For me it is quite expensive. Coconut milk used was not the fresh coconut milk, it was from boxed coconut milk . And the ice cream is cheap ice cream, at least Nestle ice-cream taste better xD 4. No black pepper provided. They only using find grinned local white pepper. And how come the staff provided us butter knife for cutting steak? ( At least , we requested for a proper knife) Conclusion: wine and alcohol drinks were worthy than foods. overall foods we ordered, i only love the wedges from my beef steak.

Wonderful, beautiful location. We were walk in visitors treating ourselves, massive restaurant with seating indoor and outdoors. Staff friendly, very extensive Asian cuisine very well presented and tasty. Exceptionally wide range of available drinks and cocktails, expensive as you would expect.

This restaurant is a little more informal than the Rhu, (which is only open in the evenings) but the food was still very well presented and flavoursome. The service was excellent and friendly. The sands is open for lunch and dinner. I recommend dining outside in the evening whilst watching the sunset it is beautiful and very romantic.
