I came back from oversea and thought buying food for my family, then I found out this...I don't understand why there are still have people not follow Covid-19 SOP, they are not wearing mask while people are dying in hospital because of Covid-19, this is even worse they are preparing food for public, and yet government are doing nothing to them. I watched how they wash the cups and prepare for coconut milk shake, wash his hand while taking the ice for coconut milk shake, oh my god, that is so disgusting!!!

Still my favorite Mee Sotong around although it is fried in a large quantity unlike some others. The noodles are so flavorful and yet at only RM5 per serving. Only takeaways are available now. Only issue now is parking is hard to come by since the Fort Cornwallis parking area is closed for renovation.

We came at 11 on a weekday (to avoid crowds) but it wasn’t open yet. Had to wait a few minutes, but didn’t have to queue so long because we were early. The taste is a mixture of spicy, savoury and a sweet. Overall, really flavourful and strong tasting. Could use more squid though. I can understand why it’s popular among locals. It’s not something I can eat a lot though because of the strong taste and thick β€˜gravy’ but for it’s cheap price (RM5), yeah I say definitely worth it if you don’t mind queuing!

Long que and long waiting time to order the food. Give it a try since a lot of people recommend this place and said that their pasembor is delicious. Pasembor taste okay2. Pasembor sauce taste a bit sweet. Got cucur, tauhu, kentang, sengkuang, Timun, udang, and kambing Bakar. The price for pasembor is RM7. People who like to eat sweet food might like it. Also order mee sotong, rm5 they used sotong rendam instead of fresh sotong. Also taste okay2 la. Do I want to repeat eating at this place next time? Honestly, No. Once is enough. And sorry, but I will not recommend it to other. Thats all.

I decided to try this place out after getting a recommendation from a local driver. I went at 4pm on a Tuesday so there was barely anyone in line. The noodles itself is yummy and the sotong sambal is good. I wish the sotong pieces were bigger! Definitely worth trying

The one and only Mee Goreng Sotong - if you love spicy food, do ask for the extra sambal sotong option (RM7). The taste is quite unique and well worth the long queue. The queue and wait can be as long as 1 hour during peak times. Hameed Pata Mee Sotong is definitely a must visit for me every time I come to Penang. It can be a bit spicy for some, but it’s still worth a try as it’s delicious.

I think this the only food stall that is self service here. The queue is very long so I skipped eating the famous Mee goreng. The chicken chop and Mee jawa here not bad. The coconut milk shake not nice
