★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seong Optometrist is one of the most popular places to get your glasses done in Penang Island. The optometrist and their staff are customer orientated and show true concern in helping you fix your vision. I especially like their in-depth eye tests which is followed up by valuable feedback that details not just on the vision, but expands into territories concerning the health of the eye such as cataract, and glaucoma. They offer a variety of frames and lenses - not all that different from other optometrists and the same can be attributed to the price range of their products - where it feels kind of standardized in whole of Penang Island. The case to be a customer here would definitely be their service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop will not fit new lenses if you bring your own frame. Why? A few bad cases. If this is your attitude then you might as well close shop since you will always have bad cases. Not a good place to go if you have eye problems. Overall profit-minded boss.

There is a wide selection of frames available here.
The staff will intro you the types of frames based on your budget and recommend which frame suits you. Which is very professional in my view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really good place with respectable and experienced optometrists. Mr Tan's professionalism and service was outstanding. The shop also has cutting edge machines that can enhance your care. However, I would recommend appointments as it can get really busy at times.
There are a large variety of frames to choose from, these range from cheap bulk spectacles to high quality branded ones. Big fan of the Ray ban and IC Berlin stocks.
