Tahniah kepada pihak berkenaan yang mengadakan bicycle lane ini. A very good investment untuk naikkan kawasan kampung. Sama-sama kita jaga alam sekitar.
Congratulations to the relevant parties who held this bicycle lane. A very good investment to increase the village area. Insyaallah, it can definitely increase the income of the local people in the future. Hopefully this place can be well taken care of. Just stopped by January 9, 2021, paddled here, down the Perak River to Kampung Loh for about 2 kilometers. Very fun. The time to go was just after the flood so there was water that had risen all the way to the other side. Kind of like paddling in the middle of the river anyway. Only some are not shocked because they have started to see people throwing garbage everywhere. Please, bring food and drink, please take the garbage home. Together we take care of the environment.

Suitable for cyclists looking for endurance. From starting point here to Intan Suraya will take leisurely 2 hours. Along the route, do enjoy the villages - the nature, the farms, the kampung houses including the abandoned ones and the friendly kampung people. Do greet them and definitely they will greet you back. Alternatively, the way return can be shorten by half-an-hour if you take the main road instead of the trail, but be careful with cars/trucks along the way as they're tempted to speed sometimes.

Ok. So managed to find the start of the Sg. Perak Bike Trail today. It's under Victoria Bridge. A brief review. I used a road bike today, while the rest rode their MTBs. Bike rental is also available on site. Trail suitability fits all bikes, even for road bikes, since a good part of the trail is well maintained. Except for a short 50m or so unpaved gravel part of the trail between the 2nd and 3rd km of the trail (think of the bike trail near Brickfields going into KL). The trail is well marked, and every kilometer is indicated by the side of the road. You'll almost never find a bike trail free from fast moving vehicles, except for a few motorbikes and cars belonging to the people whose houses are along the trail. A sense of thrill and excitement looms as we proceed deeper into the trail which took us through the jungle, surrounded by the chirping of birds, and the view of cows grazing and monkeys swinging through the treetops. Then the trail also took us through some farming allotment, with almost constant view of the river. It was a very pleasant ride, especially in the morning when it is still misty. Elevation is very manageable, as you are able to benefit from the kinetic energy on the downhills and the potential energy once you've reached the apex of the climbs. All in all, the trail is suitable for most cyclist irrespective of bike types. Will definitely cycle here again. I'll give it 4 out of 5. P.S. Avoid the cow dung at the start of the trail if you do not want your day ruined.

Had a very enjoyable mountain bike ride here starting from the Victoria Bridge. The first half (about 10 km) is quite hilly but not as challenging as the second half (starting from main road), since there are a lot of shading trees. If you're lucky, can enjoy the corn fields surrounding the trail. For families with young children or leisure cycling, highly recommend to do first half trail or until the main road. If planning to do full 25 km...better to have a support vehicle.
