With the fame they have, I head there telling myself it’s ok if they are arrogant and have a little stuck up attitude. When I alight from my grabcar, I was greeted with a warm smile, then it hit me. It’s not just about the taste, but also the warmth that brings people back. The owner didn’t just care for her own business eventhough she was busy and overwhelmed with orders, she also tries to introduce the otak that her neighbour/sister is selling. Price is affordable as well, taste is good but not excellent (for me), as I like mine to be on the sweet side, but that’s just me. People are nice and friendly, great way to start the morning.

The char koay kak is so good, I personally think it's the best in the whole of Malaysia! A must try if you are in Penang! It's only a stall and there isn't a place to sit down to eat. I'd seen them send plates to the kopitiam next door so I supposed you can order and eat in there. The sisters are also super friendly.

The koay kak is nice. Price is also standard. The lady very polite when taking the order. Nearby only have the MBPP car park, which might be full during the working hour.

Tasted good but quite salty. You can have it dine in at the near by kopitiam.

1. Tasty char koay kak - great consistent charred and flavourful taste. 2. The Loh mai Kai at the store next door is delicious too. 3. Chee cheong fun - noodle is tasty but the sauce is a bit too thick. 4. Cheese onion omelette - creamy with nice cheese too. 5. Pat poh, kopi Peng - ALL tasty!

You will love how aunty can remember your order and fried it so quickly. One of the nice koay kak in town. There’re not much left in penang and i hope it keeps the tradition of having koay kak here
