★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have always wanted to act on something I have been self-conscious about all my life = fixing my crooked teeth. Then when I was young, my parents are unable to afford it. During my late 20s, I am told it is too late for me to do the treatment as I am already an adult and it will be very difficult to shift the teeth. There is also dental phobia issue and I then procrastinated.
When in my 50s, I noticed that a few of my adult friends are actually wearing braces and have very good results. A friend shared that she is very impressed with the remarkable work and result of Smile Dental’s doctor for the treatment. Her entire treatment is really painless and she can actually go back to work same day.
I begin to search for information after hearing her sharing, goggle their Face Book page, read many good reviews about Dr Yong and called up to make appointment.
After the consultation, I decided to go for Invisalign as it is unnoticeable when wearing it and today after 3 years, I am pleased to have that Perfect Smile now. The journey is very pleasant and most importantly painless. Great service and remarkable work quality. During my recent visit, I also noticed that they are using the latest dentistry devices which really give great comfort during the treatment.
In short, if you are looking for a dentist, I strongly recommend Dr Yong for that perfect smile and dental wellness– his office, Smile Dental, Penang. Cheers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As someone who has a phobia of the dentist and is used to sedation dentistry I was very afraid to go to the dentist and only did so because I had to.
I found the care and concern shown by all the staff that I encountered at Smile Bay exceptional.
Finaz on the front desk was very kind and very efficient in assisting me getting pre-medication for my procedures as well as arranging my appointments and sending reminders.
The dental assistant Aini was quietly efficient and gentle.
Dr. Ian Foo was the best dentist I’ve ever had. He was kind, gentle, considerate and took time to make sure I was comfortable with every step of the procedures.
The dental work was precise and pain free.
I cannot compliment these people enough, I highly recommend anyone using their services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in a couple of times for some work, including most recently a tooth implant. Everyone at Smile Bay is extremely professional and makes you feel welcome and most importantly, safe. Dr Ian took plenty of time at various stages to explain alternatives and what the surgery would entail. Finaz at the front desk was super helpful in explaining after care and booking me in for a follow-up appointment.
Reliable, patient, clear, reassuring across the board; 100% would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best dental service I ever received in my life. Dr Ian is so calm, patient and knows what he's doing. He also explained clearly on what my dental problem is, which I obviously do not know about it and the ways to handle them. The staff are also friendly. Price is considered affordable, considering the location etc. Don't forget to get your bi-annual dental check with them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have undergone a series of dental procedures with SmileBay over the last year or so, including two root canals and the surgical extraction of a wisdom tooth, and have nothing but praise for Dr Ian and all of the staff for their skill, patience, friendliness, professionalism and overall excellence which has made each visit a very positive experience.
The premises are well-lit, very clean, and quiet, creating an atmosphere of calm. I also greatly appreciated the way Dr Ian explained the various steps of each procedure and the options available. A further personal observation is that the tools (drills, etc) used at SmileBay appear to be quieter than those at other dental practices, which helps the patient stay relaxed during procedures.
I certainly look forward to future visits and would highly recommend SmileBay for anyone with dental needs.

Doctor Ian Foo is one of the best dentists that’s ever worked on my teeth. Ever since my first visit my teeth have felt great! I had a number of issues with my teeth but Dr Foo has fixed these issues. Also, he has given great tips on maintain great dental hygiene. I would recommend this office to everyone.
