★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hate the hostel auntie cos she don’t layan me during my first day of class. I actually missed the shuttle so I walked to the hostel and asked her the shuttle schedule. At first she doesn’t want to let me go in WTH then I stood there for a while n she let me go in to check the shuttle schedule. Thank god im not staying at the hostel cos my friends who stayed there complained a lot abt the hostel especially the hostel auntie. She’s noisy af and racist

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The guard uncle and cleaner aunty at the lobby are nice and friendly. Sometimes I will chat or even make joke with them. Also, the person in charge of the hostel is friendly and efficient. She will always update us with the latest info in group and contact us personally to update our rental info.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a pretty good hostel compared to other student accommodations offered. There’s heater and air cond which I don’t think you’d get in normal dorms. Surrounded by lots of food places. The only downside is the Ethernet, it doesn’t really work, but if you need WiFi you could just go to the lobby. Everyone is really pleasant here as well. The shuttle is always on time, however i think it needs to have more rounds. Eg: there’s a huge gap from 10:10 to 2:10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being located in the middle of town with various local amenities nearby, this is a hostel that comes with a relatively high asking price per month. Student transportation is available on regular days with a fixed schedule. However, it seems that during the pandemic, several attempts to cut cost has been fairly apparent which is understandable but nevertheless unfair to the students still residing in there. For instance, the water pressure on the filtered water dispenser was appalling, it takes literally 10 minutes to fill a 2 liter jug. The state of the communal kitchen meant for the students to cook 'light meals' is also in a state of disarray, with various grease and gunk sticking on to the walls, rendering it very unhygienic to even consider using. For a fairly exorbitant of pricing for rental, these factors should definitely be addressed.
