β β β β β Beautiful restaurant in G Hotel Kelawai next to Gurney Plaza. Parking here is free for the first hour if you are a patron. Classy decor, attentive service with a calm atmosphere because there weren't many customers when we went on a Thursday night for their buffet. Buffet is RM75 for adults, senior citizen (above 60 y/o) rate is RM47 if I'm not mistaken. No birthday deals though. There is a great selection of food - salad, seafood, cheese, breads, rojak, soup, fried wonton, mains, dessert, fruits and stations for noodles and chendol, roast beef, grilled meats, chicken and duck rice, char koay teow, and coffee and tea. The seafood is fresh, the cheeses are fascinating and the food is great. I'm most impressed with their dessert selection, everything was yummy galore! Come hungry, leave satisfied.

β β β β β Caught a buggy from G Gurney to have brunch catching up with friends at Spoon in G Kelawi. Pleasantly surprised by the unhurried ambience feel of the place compared with G Gurney. Set lunch is well priced with a good selection of 3 mains; starter salad, soup, main, dessert, and coffee or tea included in the one price of $25pp. You can't go much wrong here, topped with great service from the staff. Highly recommended.

β β β β β SPOON is not just another cafe in a hotel. The minimalist dining environment featuring Peranakan motif cement tiles on its flooring is perfect for family and friendsβ gathering. Another selling point is that for buffets, only small portions of food are dished up each time to ensure freshness and quality of the food while minimizing food wastage. Christmas/New Year is the best time to visit this cafe and be sure to book early to entitle for some early bird discounts.

β β β β β Tried the CNY celebration set. Totally disappointed with the food quality. The seafood Misua smells really bad and very fishy. The hot and sour soup is also not up to standard. Chilli Sauce Seabass is the only OK dish. Desert and Coffee is fine.

β β β β β A fancy restaurant located within g kelawei. Serves different lunch set menus everyday. Food quality was so-so but the ambience was nice. However not recommend for a quick lunch spot.

β β β β β Very good buffet dinner. Ala carte style mixture of local and western. Most dishes were very tasty but there were a few misses as expected from any buffets.
Service very friendly too! Recommended if you want to dine with convenience at your hotel or have a different Penang experience.

β β β β β Situated at second floor of g hotel with beautiful ? peaceful ambience and cool airconditioner atmosphere with big spacious of seatings. Here having set meals options and Ala carte. Rates are affordable on set meals options.. here cafΓ© Mocha is so delicious ?? foods are okay ? but not much hot . delivery is late . Definitely worth to visit on weekends with family and friends.
