โ โ โ โ โ Chapati was soft but the vegetables curry did not go well with chapati. Ordered some curry chicken gravy and chicken varuvel. Meat was a little tough but taste was good. A tad oily and dry. Service was fast. Overall good.

โ โ โ โ โ I would give 0 stars if that was possible. Worst ever customer service. None of the waiters are even bothered to take an order. They notice us sitting here for 15 minutes. But nobody even bothered to take order. They act like they are busy but so many people are waiting for their orders to be taken. Worst service ever. Food also doesn't even taste good. Will never recommend to anyone this shop.

โ โ โ โ โ A much talked about restaurant, I wonder why, sat there with wife and a kid for almost 20 minutes, asked someone if itโs self service, but one waiter said he will come to take order but no one came. What I saw was the customer at the next table gave away tips of few ringgits to other waiters and I understood they probably only serve regulars whom the waiter know will tip them. We were there for the first time, so probably being an unrecognized customer, no one bothered to serve our table. Bravo Sri GRAND City Restaurant, keep up the โgoodโ work!

โ โ โ โ โ Foods are nice. Came for evening tea. Tea is good. Kuih muih also have lots of varieties. Just that quite pricy. Food quality is good. But expensive compared to other Indian restaurant.

โ โ โ โ โ Only good thing is the place looks decent & has air-conditioning. Service is bad, none of the workers look at you and if they do they don't bother coming to get your order or clear the table. Came for lunch, asked for banana leaf but that didn't come. Decided to take my own mix rice, everything was cold and doesn't taste good. Drink tasted weird as well.
My observation while dining: nobody mans the counter and leaves customer waiting to pay until the line gets too long to ignore. Workers just walk around like busy but nobody bothers to clear the tables hence customers got nowhere to sit.
Definitely won't recommend to anyone to come. Surprisingly it is packed but not sure why business is good when service & food is horrible.

โ โ โ โ โ Went to this restaurant for an early dinner. No one bothered to serve us and I had to ask the waiters a few times. They just ignored me until I had to ask one of the waiters is it because the business is so good that you just ignored your customers. The waiter had the cheek to reply me saying that they expected to be tipped. He mentioned that if give a big tip to them, they will serve you well and if you don't, you have to wait longer. Most of the waiters are foreigners. The food is cold and not delicious at all! Don't understand why the business is still that good. You can anytime get better ones at other banana leaf rice and indian cuisine restaurants like Banana Bros, etc.. Will never step foot into this restaurant again. Why should we support this type of restaurant where there are so many others providing more delicious food and better service? I hope the bosses of this restaurant read this!!!

โ โ โ โ โ Was there for late lunch at about 3pm. Went in and was not entertained for about 20 minutes. Then one of the worker (maybe the manager) was serving some drinks nearby. I managed to get his attention and made my food order, he left so fast that I could not even request my drinks. I then waited for my food, but no one attended to my order. Instead, I had to walk my self to the food area and ask if I could just take the rice and serve my self. He was happy that I was willing to do it. After that I just made my order for drinks at the counter. The food is not great nor is the drinks. My Teh Ice was so sweet and do not taste like tea at all. I used to come here during my College day and had enjoyed the food here. But not now, I definitely do not recommend this place anymore.

โ โ โ โ โ Brought my mum there today thought of having a great banana leaf lunch. We sat for a solid 15min, the server or any member of the staff wasn't bothered to take our order. so then we walk out of the restaurant. There's a different bandana leaf restaurant a couple blocks away with better services and food.
