★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came on a Saturday afternoon and was quite packed. Nice place to eat as you can have a view of nature. Food was average. Portion was good and prices are affordable.

1. Staffs don't speak English or communicate properly. They can't even say wats the dish they served.
2. They forgot our orders. We reminded them n they told they will do it and send it to us. But they send it to another table who ordered it. Our order never came. Worst part is there were only 2 table of ppl dining in.
3. Food quality was so so.....Mutton bone marrow was awesome.....all others including Koole (which was full of pepper, i think thats how their recipe is as my grandma used to make more like a curry)....was so so..... we ordered Sri Lankan omlette but the staff gave us omlette.....come on being a Sri Lankan myself I know it was a normal omlette which has egg, onion n Chilli!
4. Idiyappam was thick.....if u r fan u will enjoy.....sothi tasted gd
I wish the owners took responsibility n ensured a gd service n gathered feedback or share or explain their style vs expectations I would haf been at least happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vegetarian Briyani is de best! Their omulette is awesome too!!! Also their chapati is fluffy and flaky! A hidden gem!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a meal here on 11 May and the food is fantastic! Had the lamprais, chicken briyani and chicken manchurian. Everything was flavourful, piping hot and oh-so-savoury. Definitely worth a visit. I will come back. Staff are also friendly and pleasant, a big plus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food taste has drop so much. Example a chicken briyani was served with fish curry. It's just weird. Menu is too complicated and it's all fixed dishes and no more banana leaf option.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the table today is pepper mutton (RM14), mutton varuval (RM14), fried tenggeri (mackerel) (RM12) with Basmati rice, okra and snake melon (RM4.90) from UMAC house. This is a Sri Lankan/ Indian cuisine housed in the University Malaya Academic Clubhouse.
The flavours for all were not too bad, you can't go wrong with mutton varuval. The dish isn't tongue wagging spicy and should be tolerable for the intolerant.
Do note that this base price is accompanied by mains. The set comes with crispy poppadom and curry with yogurt.
Overall the place is popular during lunch with massive crowds. The thirst level after the meal is quite intense, I was clamoring for water constantly and only subsided after 2 or more hours. Parking is ample but haphazard in tight spots. This is a pork free establishment with alcohol on the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious and nice place especially for small gatherings. Nice food with reasonable prices.
Was aware that this place has been around for a long time. Plenty or parking spaces. Cooling environment due to being surrounded by huge trees.
And for those who's thirsty, the serve beer too.
