This pasar malam is dying. Crowd is getting less and stalls too. Not worth going unless you are there to walk about.

It's open on Thursdays. Lots of choices of food. Groceries such as fruits, vegetables and fish are being sold here.

An institution around the PJ area. A sister to the bigger SS2 one on monday. This has a decidedly more homely feel. Alot more laid.back and denlfintely much nicer to walk than the monday SS2 one.

Covering just two row of roads within this area, the open market is considered a little small. You can get fresh produce, variety of food and an assortment of clothings here. It's usually better to visit from 6pm onwards as more stalls would be opened by then. Parking is usually by the roadside along the housing area or anywhere nearby.

Only open on Thursday from 5pm ~ 11pm. Not a big night market but good enough to enjoy some of street-food stalls, fruits and basic essentials here. I have been here few times and most of street-foods here run by elderly are authentic delicious. Give a try in here, I love most of their street foods here...there are few Halal stalls run by Malays too...I love the makcik satays ( from chicken satay - $0.80 to lamb satay $1.20 ) My all times favourite - Prawn fritter (unusual than others, very crispy , full of prawns & veggies. I pc is more than enough) China filling buns and dumplings also very delicious...only Rm$3/pc, got 3 flavours and dumpling generous portion with fillings. Nasi Nyonya kandar also very tasty...love the Nyonya bihun, spicy-sour....only Rm$3/pkt. If bigger the night market, you should buy more. So, I think this size is enough.?

I've been coming here since early 2000 as I used to stay down the road, and seen this place flourish into a must-visit pasar malam. Things were going great for many of the vendors, until Covid19 hit everyone. Now, since the reopening of everything, things are back to normal, but minus more than half of the pasar malam vendors. The worst hit are the fruit and clothes vendors as the pandemic opened up fruit businesses line mushrooms. And online shopping sort of killed the dan-lain-lain sellers like clothes and so on. Seems like the only ones doing OK are the food vendors. But honestly, with price increases over the years, many have cut down on ingredients, resulting in poor quality hawker food. Some of them, can't even eat. No taste, too much MSG, pr simply cooked. It's a matter of time before the traditional pasar malam becomes a food street market. That's probably the only way out for these night markets. So, I walked here again today, vendors other than food, looked so miserable. Crowds just going for food mainly. Such a shame to see one of our Malaysian cultures fading away, bit I hope it gets a new lease of life with new vendors.
