If you like Vietnamese food, there's a lady here who sells Vietnamese noodles and fried spring rolls. Ask for the "bun rieu" and "chai yor" (definitely not spelled correctly) and bring a bowl and chopsticks, sit in the park and have a good dinner

Crowded and some stalls have super long queue. You may find a lot of stuff here - food, clothes, household stuff. Parking may be a hassle. Be prepared to park further to avoid the traffic jam in the SS2 pasar malam area.

Small night market with cheap eats, clothes, fruits and veggies. You can try fun street food fares here for cheap, they also sell gadgets and things like that. It’s open every night, has a good vibe. Mostly locals. Apparently they’re open every night until 10pm.

A crowded night market in the heart of the SS2 shopping enclave. Many stalls encircle the cluster around durian, market and park central to showcase a variety of traditional and changing trends for street food. Prices are no longer cheap but quite demanding for this weekly spectacle offering free entertainment on an evening stroll. It is hard to tell today if any food peddled is freshly made by vendors or just being distributed by central kitchens. Certainly was disappointed by the many Bah Chang versions offered, despite the crowd demands, they were usually bland at best. If you come across the Bah Chang woman from Taman Megah Sunday market near the Maybank, then her Cantonese rice dumpling with oyster is a treat at RM8. Stocks run out fast from 5pm.

Great variety and many, many shops as a whole. You get options for food items and snacks, some drinks here and there, fruits and vegetable, clothings, random theses and thats and so on. We tried the steamed dim sum things and they were ok. Nice without being fantastic not miserable. I believe it was Rm6 for 5 pieces. You are giving a single use plastic box and you take what you want , self-service style. Popiah was also good. Rm2.90 per roll. It comes in a single use box if you order more than 1 piece. If just the one, it is wrapped in a single use plastic sheet. The thai tea was....ok...i guess. It will satisfy the craving but it isn't as sweet and rich as you would normally get. If that's what you want anyway, then great. But if you want something closer to the typical, then it will be just a tiny bit less satisfying. It is Rm7. Comes in single use plastic cup, lid and carrier. Apart from the single use plastics, the only other bad thing i can think about is the fact that the lanes are a bit narrow. As such, queues will crowd spaces very easily and you will have to squeeze between people, which is definitely not fun.

Probably the best pasar malam to visit in the greater PJ area. Lots of stalls, especially food and my prediction is that Pasar Malam will become more like food streets in the very near future. All those stalls selling other things will slowly fade away since the consumer market has headed online. The current generation, and the next generation has already been trained to eat outside, hardly anyone cooks nowadays, hence there is not much demand for raw goods. Even those clothes vendors are slowly fading away, cause everything can be bought online, and sometimes cheaper than the pasar malam. However, food is still the main attraction here, especially local and international street foods. And the honest truth, not all of them are nice. Only some. But it's still an awesome experience to walk the pasar malam.

A good venue for you who crave for some snacks or even late dinner. It offers various options, from Malay food, Chinese food, Western food, and street food. If you come around dinner time (6.30-8.00), it'd be a bit difficult to find parking spot.
