β β β β β Good price for van, quite cheap. BUT! In order to get the βdepositβ money back, you have to constantly contact and ask the owner about it.

β β β β β We rented a van through Sugen Arumugan for a tour of KL, cameron highlands and Penang.
Overall if was okay but buyers beware of a few facts
1. the A/C in the mini van is not good- passengers in the back row seat were sweltering in heat.
2. He does not use email - uses Whatsapp only to communicate.
make sure you get the services covered and charges in advance in writing.
3. The morning we were leaving for Penang, the driver brought his wife to travel with us from KL to Penang. We protested and he finally dropped her off at a taxi station but it seemed less than professional .
4. We stayed at a hotel 4 km from Penang airport, however the driver asked for an addition charge of $100 to drop us on our last day . We did not take this offer and got ourselves cabs which were very convenient.
Everything else was okay

β β β β β Gave a very bad service. Van is not serviced. Tyre full flat which we doesn't notice. Only notice when we were at Penang. When we call them, they said check nearest shop. When check the shop mechanic inform if going Highway dont over 80km/per hour. When we informed the rental guy about that,they said becareful come slowly. Becareful with using clutch. From Penang we moved 5pm and reached KL 12.15am(suppose hand over van at 10pm)due to heavy jam in penang Bridge jam in highway because all coming back to KL plus some accidents. After reaching KL, we explained this but they still charge the 2 hours. When we try to explain again, the words they use was not professional and very rude. They told us that, in whatever situation also, need return the van by 10pm. Its our fault coming very slow. They didn't think that if we were on the maximum speed it can result an accident where its was also a rainy day. Lastly they informed can gv back deposit aftr 2days only. Very bad service. It was our first time van rental so we was not very clear about what are the things we need to check. Hope next time after reading this others please check thoroughly before renting.
