Seems understaffed or staff not clearing up fast enough. Lots of coffee trays and left overs were lying around on the empty tables although not many people around.

I've ordered this before but this time the drink tastes like $hit.
That's 1 awfully shoddy service and beverage that I paid for.
Shame on you Starbucks Shaftsbury branch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walk in (28 April 2022), huge crowd. Been here few times, staffs always work swiftly to serve the lines. I really don't mind waiting. While on the queue, what I had to witnessed was how unethical behavior of the senior staff or perhaps a manager. Wondering if she's well trained to lead. She was verbally rude to her staffs. Trying to digest the scenario, I came to realize other customers in queue too thought that's uncalled for. Does she knows that she's carrying the "brand"? I honestly believe she's not fit for the job. Good leaders, lead....not boss around.
Although "Customers First" is the vital policy in service industry but remember we are human with sympathy and empathy. Doesn't even deserve 1 star but that's the least I can choose. 5 stars to staffs that prepare the orders with great patience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The baristas were friendly, the drink did take some time because there were also grab food/ shoppee orders. It was a bit dark to sit in. But if you just want to do your work, its quite empty in the morning.
The food selection is also good with local delicacies.
