★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beach is clean, less crowded, great for picnic. But we need to be careful as it has been said that there were people drown almost every year. Not to worry, just make sure you don't go farther up otherwise the strong wave will make you sink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beach. The water is so fine and if it is windy season, you can surf here. The resort was at reasonable price and also there a lot of utilities. It's quite far from town cities but you can enjoy great view here. When it comes to public holiday, there will be crowded with tourist. You can also set up a tent and overnight at this beach

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for one night with family and kids. Unlucky for us because there were a group of guests singing karaoke SOOO LOUD right infront of the chalet till midnight. The management should set a closed karaoke room for such activity. Totally ruined our vacation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A group of chalet with easy access to the beach. The reception was friendly and helpful. Check in until 7pm only (not a 24 hour service). They have a variety of rooms suitable for families. Made group booking for the Sabah house, Sri Melati and Mawar Merah. Sabah house is a lone chalet at the center of the property. It has two rooms one of which you have to walk down a couple of stairs to get to. So its less suitable for the less mobile. The Mawar Merah is great for families. It is like a one bedroom very basic suite. 1 double bed and 1 single bed outside and a double bed inside a room. Kettles and mini fridge provided. Sri Melati has 3 single bed plus 2 stowaway beds. There is a hot and cold water dispenser available in front of the reception. No cooking facilities and only two glasses provided for your use. Towels are given upon check in with the remotes which you need to return upon check out. Bedsheets could be cleaner and hot shower doesnt work well. If you are not too fussy, this place is ok. The beach is nice with view of sunrise. Took our breakfast to eat by the beach which was nice. Altogether a comfortable stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location, about 13km from Mersing town. Resort is within 30m of sandy beach. Has swimming pool, great when the beach becomes too hot.
Stayed in Melati Merah, a 1-bedroom semi-dee chalet suitable for families. Bedroom has a queen bed while living area has a queen bed and a single bed. Comes standard with a tv, mini fridge, kettle, hot-water shower and air-con. TV only has Freeview channels.
Resort provides a water dispenser at the reception, so no need to bring bottles and bottles of water.
Unfortunately, the verandah of the chalet has no partition adjoining the other unit, so no privacy to hang out in front. Do note there could be mosquitoes also.
Difficult to get dinner in the area, so has to drive out a few kilometres towards Mersing town, either on the beach road or the kampung road. Some guests bring stoves to cook simple meals.
Internet connection is not very good. Shared wi-fi may not reach some units at the far end. My kids have to walk to reception area to use internet.
The road next to the beach were sinking at a few locations. Looks like it's been a while in that state.
