Poor in serving food. Waiting almost 1 hr for 1 food? Ridiculous... Feel like the serving system being racist because all malay got food late but not others. Almost 3 hrs waiting for food but still not completely the orders. Very disappointed. Will not come again ever. Giving a bad reviews for the hotel Marriot name too.

Jason Goh, Mark and team at Summer Palace went above and beyond to help us organise an outsandingly intimate Chinese wedding banquet with close family and friends. With Jason's leadership and experience, he crafted an exquisite experience for our guests-of-honour from the waiting area, to thoughtful entrance to tea ceremony to dining to yum seng to many laugher and meaningful memories. :) He also customised our menu by working alongside the amazing head chef. The end result is our guests were singing praises on how relaxed they felt while enjoying every scrumptious and generous servings of the 10-course meal. Having attended many wedding banquets in the past, I have utmost admiration and respect to Jason, Mark and team who together made our banquet and stay in Marriott hotel filled with joyful memories.

Before I start ordering, I spotted this on the table, near to my plates. We came to this hotel to enjoy and we are paying for environment, services as well as cleanliness. First impression, disappointed with its cleanliness even tho its a high class hotel. Update: We were left hanging for 10-15mins after we came in. No staff came to serve us even tho I don't see much customer around here. Update: we ordered for chinese tea since I sat down, it's been like 20-30mins since then, wondering are they plucking tea leaves on the spot? Food was okay.

Summer Palace serves buffet style dim sum (halal) which is located inside the Marriott Putrajaya hotel. A popular restaurant for halal dim sum in Putrajaya. In my opinion..it has limited menu for buffet and taste is only so so. However I especially enjoyed the Red Bean Soup dessert which was excellent (5 ?).

It's a very disappointing meal with a poor service, slow serving, bad attitudes Chinese Dim Sum restaurant located in a 5 star resort. Initially I thought I'm the only one having such bad meal experience. After reading review here, I can conclude that it's really a bad decision to dine at this restaurant. We are 10 persons table who first seat into the restaurant at around 11:30am for eat-all-you-can Dim Sum. Later, , another 3 more being table seated (around 23-24pax-2 ala cart table and 1 table of dim sum) after few dishes being served. The ordered dim sum begin to slow down to serving 2 dim sum in 30 mins. We patiently waited until 1pm and we start losing our patient as we are still waiting for the dim sum to be serve. We call upon the captain/manager to check and ask what happened and how many order still left waiting to be serve. I was surprise by the answer Quote: "If you wanna check, your order will be pull out from kitchen and cease serving, your order almost served all" then he turn around and left. What kind of answer is that!? Hence, the dim sum aren't fresh and taste like frozen dim sum bought from supermarket. Well... I believe this is my worst dim sum ever tasted in my life for the money paid. I can simply find a coffee shop dim sum taste better then so call 5 star resort worstless dim sum. What terrified me is the respond from captain/manager when I ask him Quote: "is this your normal serving practice to customer (11:30am waited until 1:15pm)" Captain/manager reply quote: We are serving the Ala cart table, now, for dim sum eat-all-you-can you have to wait...I was really stunned by his reply and I felt like I begging to dine for free. At that time the whole restaurant only have 2 ala cart table and 2 dim sum table with 3 custom each table and our table. The restaurant staff only have 1 waitress, 1 captain and 1 manager. We felt like the restaurant drag time by purpose to slow down the serving to avoid more food being serve. Even this is a buffet lunch with discounted price from a membership. Such low level disgusting tricks can easily be recognised. I believe we will never return to the restaurant again and wouldn't recommend anyone. From all the review you can read here, the resort management don't even care to respond to their customers experience and review. Well...I leave it to whoever read this review to make your own judgement.

Price is higher now, RM118 per pax but the selection of food is limited than before. The quality of food is also quite dissappointing. Came here with my friends today for the all-you-can-eat-dim-sum only to find out that the dim sums were not freshly made. How could you served frozen dim sum Marriott? If we were to eat frozen dim sum, we could've bought them at pasar malam for RM20 per kg. Think you deserve 2 stars only but I add 1 more star for good ambience.
