★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t know why they want to make this place so cool. Is like in the freezer. Still waiting for a room from 3.30am until 7.30am. They are killing the patients and their family members. Besides that, nurses are like having a party, making a lot of noise. But, they have good doctors & nurses here. Hopefully I will not have any bad experience anymore later.
(Around 3 weeks later) Comment: After admission the nurse gave me a blanket seeing me so cold ?without even asking. As a companion, a found it very comfortable being there. Looks like hotel more than a hospital. Besides the parking issue & the cold temperature, every thing seems to be okay. I need to change my review from 1 star to 5 stars because of the doctors, nurses, cleaners, food distributors & etc. They have good professional doctors. They have good nurses who follow the SOP & fast response when patient ring the bell. 5 stars to the food they served. I can say the food was healthy & they tried their best to make it delicious too. ? I can see the afford they put in while making the the food using high quality raw materials. They also followed proper SOP to make sure the correct food distributed to the patients with remarks from the doctors. The cleaners also came in twice a per day to checked & clean the room if needed. As for now, I can say this is the best hospital. I hope they can keep up the good work & improve better.

While I've been patient to both private and govt hospitals, I must say so far Sunway Medical Centre has an edge over the private players in terms of patient ease of access to treatment and follow ups. Appointments, registration, payments and collection of medication are all so seamlessly integrated it actually feels like a unified entity. My experience with treatment here are that everyone at Sunway Medical Centre is GENUINELY has your condition at heart and waste no time to get patients to treatment, medical attention or check ups.
Kudos to everyone at Sunway Medical Centre. You've made your Founder proud.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the emergency today at 4pm. From doctor consultation to admission. this whole process takes us 3 hours. We were still patiently waiting. My kid is dehydrated after multiple vomiting, and so he have to do dripping.
Tested covid positive and therefore we get quarantine in a contained cabin at 720pm. From there on, the nurse and doctor only come to you after every 30 mins. We decided to discharge when we know none of the insurance can cover the bill, and we were asked to pay deposit of 15k. While waiting, just patiently let him get more drip, hope he is better. But somehow the dripping piping does not work, and it dint drip into his body, I asked the nurse, he said for kid the flow will be slow, but that was alr 1.5 hours, then only nurse test the flow and confirm it is not working. So I request to exclude that from my billing, but somehow when the bill come it is still charged, the admin does not know at all. The whole experience is just so bad, they send different ppl in and out the room, but nobody really passing the message around. One nurse said will give anti vomit medicine before we leave. Another doctor said kid cannot take anti vomit medicine. And when i asked why the other suggest me to take it. He said now I am the doctor in charge I take over. U should listen to me. Come on, I am the patient, why are you raising your voice to me, when you both from the same medical centre giving different advice.
Doctor have no specific medication for covid, only fever, cough, flu. So no reason for us to admit. From 4 pm we only manage to leave by 945pm, the bill is 1.6k. Hahaha, sunway what a good service u offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had my vaccine booster Pfizer shot here after applying via email. Took about 9 days to get a slot. Very efficient and well managed system through out the vaccination process. Entire process took Less than 30mins from the time you enter carpark in the Late morning.
What I REALLY disliked and dont appreciate is they stuff 3 ppl at the doctor's consultation table and then parade ur medical conditions and medication for strangers to know. Whatever happened to patient confidentiality ? Certainly no need to rush us like a fast food queue during off peak periods.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Appointment at 3pm, waited almost an hour just for a vaccine. I’m not sure what’s the purpose of appointment. Time wasted!
Maybe I have already paid the full vaccination amount on my first dose, so they made me wait long enough for the second dose.
Not sure my last dose will need to wait for 3 hours or not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Block D parking area is terrible. Despite having so many levels, you could hardly get a parking space even at normal hours. The worst part is that it's not disabled friendly if you're alone all by yourself. This is because of the way the carpark is designed. It's unfortunate if you get a parking lot at the "lower part" instead of the upper part of the carpark on each level. You can understand better if you're an OKU.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was very well taken care of throughout my pregnancy and birth at Sunway.
Obgyn Dr Balasundram is very straight forward and experienced Dr, explaining every detail thoroughly and patiently.
As at Feb'22, fathers are allowed to accompany mummies into the labor ward for natural birth - Covid test needs to be negative. A companion letter will be issued to fathers and they are allowed to stay overnight as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time came to this hospital, car park is not enough and limited. Drive many rounds but unable to enter any tower. Car park full. Registration is fast, consulting from Doctor is good. She is understanding and well explanation.
