★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be my favourite place for tomyum when I was in UniKL MFI 2008-2012. Kind of not as good as before (or maybe my tastebud evolved, lol) but everything is still goooood. Don't missed out to have kerabu mango and also this mango glutinous rice (as per picture shared). Will visit again in near future as I am now in Putra Mahkota area. Not too far but not too close either. But it will be worth it to have the meal with friends and family from time to time. The restaurant is also very particular about the cleanliness as they will sanitize the table once you finished your meal and get up for the next person. Good job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here after hearing good vibes from my friend who also accompanied me for dinner.
The place:
There are small stalls outside of the shops for the snacks, a typical and true sign of a Thai place. Acceptably clean.
Food and Drinks (ordered the set for 2):
1. Complimentary plain water with self service concept which I find practical and useful.
2. Thai Milk Tea and Green Thai Tea were the bomb and nicely flavored. We requested less sugar and they complied. Portion is huge. These are highly recommended.
3. Siakap 3 Rasa: Fish was rather small but it's okay, it is for 2 pax anyway but I've never seen such a small ikan Siakap ?? The 3 rasa sauce didn't have any kick, there was not enough mix of the spicy, sweet, and sour taste to it. It just tasted like a combination of different types of chilli sauce. The Siakap was deep fried to taste. Too bad about the sauce.
4. Tomyam Campur: Definitely too sweet for my liking. What is wrong with the rave reviews about the Tomyam? The fillings were plentiful. There was a big portion of meat.
5. Telur Dadar: Telur Dadar is well Telur Dadar, too bland tho as if they skimp on salt. Nothing special.
6. Kailan Ikan Masin: This is the only dish that I was happy with. They were generous on the gravy/sauce and the salty fish taste was thick. The kailan wasn't overcooked which is great! Some places overdo the veggie and loses its nutrients.
7. Sambal belacan: Average. I didn't taste the udang kering which is part of the ingredients.
Service:
The waiter serving us was alright and the food also came quite fast. However, after we ordered, I browsed the menu for takeaway, one of the waiter tried to take my menu assuming we were done with it. I find this very rude because I was still browsing and at least he could have asked.
Would I returned? Not anytime soon. I prefer Anan which is nearby, over this place.
