★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Try avoid order for Promo Packages RM88 or RM128. Waited 2 hour for the 8 dishes to b served. 1920 , reached the restaurant. Waited 20min to be get appoint by patron. 1943,
This is not fine dining area.
but it took up 2 hour to completed all the 8 dishes. Beside u will see, all of the other table has serve with foods. Even youre here earlier than others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice and comfort place to have Japanese food. Lots of free parking space around there. The service is good and friendly. My Family had a great time and were surprised when we were given free ice cream for dessert to all of us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very crowded during dinner time. Made reservation to avoid long queue. The aircond nearby our dining table was having leaking issue so we dined with very fast water dripping BGM. Food wise, so so. The buta enoki with butter tasted bland. Shougaki with mountains of cabbage but not so much of buta niku. Sashimis were decent, quite fresh. Floor crew were very polite and refill tea was not so difficult. Got vouchers after payment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is ideal when one is heading to the Penang International airport to do a stopover lunch or dinner before taking the flight, it is approximately less than 10 minutes drive to the drop off area at the Departure Hall.
On the day I was there for lunch, it was a decent crowd inside the restaurant, this may signify good food!!
Usual, staff checking whether one is fully vaccinated or not, and then squirt.. squirt .. the staff helped us with sanitizing our hands.
Service here is really attentive and courteous. The atmosphere is nice, cozy and Japanese décor. The set lunch set for Tempura set nice & I must say the chawamushi both my son and I concluded with similar verdict... NICE.
This Chawamushi’s taste gave the taste bud a pleasant lingering mixture taste of all the ingredients inside the cup once in the mouth. At the same time when the food hit your mouth, one would scent the delicious smell too.
As for price wise, I would think is reasonable especially food ingredients prices are on the rise.
For the one I ordered Butaniku/Gyuniku Shougayaki set, stir fried beef with ginger sauce, I do not rate it well if compared to the Tempura set. Paper thin beef slices and with mountain of mixed vegetables. Taste to me is so so and would not order again.
Overall, a pleasant dine in experience and a recommended place to come for your Japanese food fix or a stopover meal before flight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rarely venture to this part of the town until I have to pick up someone from the airport. As you know, around 5to6pm,traffic can be treacherous so we decided to eat dinner instead.
This area is surrounded by Ideal's condominiums and all are new and modern especially the road and parking are wide and spacious. Good job.
There so many restaurants in the surrounding area, all looks new and modern. I can decide which one to dine in. However, thanks to Google map, we decided to try Sushi Zento.
We ordered a few dishes and all were very good especially the grilled seafood. The Saba was flavorful as well as the squid. Tender and delicious. I wondered who was doing the grilling, and I peaked it was a young lady did most of the grilled seafood. Big praise to her. I also realized they have chain store in tanjung tokong.
With all Japanese food in Penang, they are not cheap and this place is slightly higher than most of them but you do get quality food. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again.
