★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the first hide built in Taman Negara. In the local language, hides are called bumbun. It's a 2 story elevated observation post with ample space for people (not a good thing if the people are noisy). Try to come at dawn or dusk to see some deer and other creatures. It overlooks a natural salt lick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nearest wooden wildlife elevated observation post with 2 stories that you get to see sambal deers or if lucky more on the natural salt lick meadow in the front, mostly at night time or early morning times.
Have been there 3 times, one in the morning and were lucky to feel the rainforest surround you with the dazzling sound of all the elements under starry skies at night time.
Definitely recommend joining both tours at night and early morning.
There are more of these observation posts but rest are lot further and requires serious hiking and camping.
